Pointless relates to coming into a thread with sweeping generalisations for the sake of point scoring.

Don't want to debate the merits of an illegal war to liberate Iraq or the democratic rights of Tibetans in an Ibiza forum (if that's ok?).

It just feels like the timing is perfect to support the cause when all eyes of the world and media will be on London. If you don't think so then that's your gig, not mine.

not interested in scoring points or making generalisations, just pointed out that you come across (ooer) as a bit of a tub thumper.....but a noble one at that, didnt mean to cause offence, it was meant in a jokey way, as your threads I always find are quite lighthearted anyway...........oh dear...thats another sweeping statement isn't it?:confused: ;)

hows about the Genocide in Darfur, The mess in Zimbabwae, the list goes on and on and on... you must be a very busy person.
