My view is ....I've no idea what's really happened, and I very rarely go to Sankeys as the thought of supporting David Vincent has always turned me off. Last summer at a small beach restaurant on the west of the island him and his gaggle of hangers on (mainly good looking young gay men) took over the place and I've never seen so much self imposed self importance in my life! And I've seen a few divas in my time.....

Here's more details. Apparently they have a pair of DJs already lined up who are 'up and comers'

I like sankeys but for me its trying to hard to be underground while at the same time pimping itself around to create a brand. There is nothing underground about a brand.
Its closest rival in terms of what they try to create on the island is probably DC10 but in truth they are worlds apart. Sankeys is becoming far too man made

Darius obviously has a history of rubbing ppl up the wrong way. Is he arrogant? Yes, I think so. A lot of DJs are though.
What I would say is that he is one of the few who interacts with his fanbase on social media with personal replies. He engages people. Listens to them.
So far as I could see (and I was close to falling asleep when it all kicked-off) his main gripe seems to be with Sankeys' door policy - presumably in Manchester & London as opposed to Ibiza. And if that is the case, then frankly it is admirable.

“As of 5.30pm UK time today Sankeys Sankeys Ibiza Sankeys London Official & Tribal Sessions terminated their relationship with DJ Darius Syrossian for bringing the club and brand into disrepute.
“One thing we will say is VIVa MUSiC, DJ Steve Lawler, The BPM Festival, CUFF. DIYNAMIC MUSIC, The Martinez Brothers, Studio338 & of course Sankeys cannot all be wrong about this individual.

A couple of above comments from Darius off Twitter but he's said far more on Facebook, without telling his side of the story anything like in full. There's also screenshots of David Vincent acting completely unreasonable when confronted with a very reasonable partially-disabled fan who was wrongly turned away from the club in Manchester.
It seems to me that Sankeys growing brand and quest for profits has seen them forget about the people who put them there. I've only been to Sankeys Manchester once and the bouncers almost refused me entry simply because they didn't like my face. They were rude and deliberately confrontational. Never had a bad experience at Sankeys Ibiza but reading people's comments, it seems like plenty have. Darius IS Tribal Sessions and as part of his contract he was probably expected to be a 'yes man'. However it appears Darius sensed a "shift" in where Sankeys was headed and a deterioration in how they treat their fans and he has simply refused to sit back and be part of that. An admirable stand point from where I'm sitting.
Nobody know the full details but reading between the lines you can start to put the jigsaw pieces together. People can ultimately make up their own minds but I know who I'm backing.

Hey You All ~ The Rumours are around that I'm NOT taking any gigs at Sankey's event are TRUE! ~ the Decision was made by my Team and I, Reason you ask? Poor Dates & Non sufficient funds... based in all the years i have personally put into this venture in England, Ibiza, New York, etc. I decided to remove myself from it all ~ if the Top Dawg is not going to be taken care of then I will choose to work with professional Legit Companies that are still down to do the right things. I have a grip of gigs around IBIZA so don't stress i'm still very well in it to WIN it! thank you all...
