The future for Privilege

Just trying to get a feel from Trance fans as to what they think about the move. I have read mixed reports about Armin recently and Es Paradis are running a Trance night Colors with Alex Kunnari on Mondays also.

I didn't realise Alex Kunnari's night was on the Monday as well. I like Alex Kunnari but I think his night will bomb, unfortunately.

Interesting that there is also talk of Ferry moving to Es Paradis. Weird that Es Paradis suddenly seem keen on doing trance nights. Has that got anything to do with Judgement Sunday's end being rumoured, I wonder?

But yeah, any trance fan on the island will make their way to Privilege. In that sense, Armin can't fail (at least not to the same extent Gatecrasher did.) But I really don't think it will top Be @ Space. Was my favourite night of the holiday last year; amazing atmosphere, full club etc. Privilege will be a 2nd best, I think.

As we agreed - it will be the last we hear of it from Tiesto. ;) I wasn't expecting it even in 2009, so thank heaven for small mercies.

Ye this rumour's been circultating for a bit and we've still heard nothing!! I reckon if he does move, he'll take the Tuesday night as I think holding a big Trance night before Judgement could be a slight mistake.....

If I recall, Judgement Sunday's was in its 13th year last season, but I reckon he'll take it to 15....

I personally think its good Es Paradis is reverting to more trance, as in the past it has worked for them e.g. clockwork orange etc

No I don't think so, he used to be a part owner of a restaurant on the island.... possibly what your thinking of.....
But he has stated a number of times he'd like to own a restaurant/small club/venue on the island once he calls it a day

Someone suggested it could be on the water party night. That'd be an odd combination to say the least. :lol:

You know what? I actually like the sound of that. Fiesta Del La Ferry?:lol: It would certainly be something different.

I must admit, I have a soft spot for Es Paradis as a club. It's a bit quirky, it's got some charm. It's just a shame the nights there have been so poor of late. They're catering for a San An audience, I suppose.
 
es paradis is the best looking club in ibiza imo. shame its lacks a good crowd or any decent nights......

Eden... potentially, just depends on what night + whether it clashes with any other trance night......Still reckon an Annie Mac presents night will suceed very well at that club........
There's always Be @ Space...
The only other places I could think would be Ushuaia/Ocean Club Ibiza, but chances must be v.v.v.small.........

Annie Mac is back doing 6 nights for Together on Tuesday at Amnesia again this season.

Is it definite that he is coming back with Full on Ferry? May just stick to his usual Cream dates at Amnesia...
 
I think A State of Trance will do well at Privilege if they have strong line ups. I always go to Cream every time I'm out there but this is the night I'm excited about for 2012.
Hopefully they will get a decent crowd as I've had great nights in there when it's been busy. Tiesto the first year he had his residency is probably my best night out of many over the last 12 years. Fingers crossed for Armin doing all the dates :)

what about the water party? have you been to one in es paradis? if you have i can bet you haven't gone back again after your first time unless your like groping women.

never been to a hed kandi night but wouldn't class it as 'decent'.

Sorry, I meant in term of pulling in the numbers (should of made myself clear), I wouldn't be seen anywhere near that waterparty, instead you'll find me in Space on a Tuesday and Pacha on a Friday!!!

Well Sander van Doorn played in Space for Toolroom Knights last summer so have a techy Ferry at space would not be that surprising
 
rumours are that privi is open right NOW ?!
what´s going on there 2nite - some "springbreak"style-party or what ??
 
How Privilege is used is one of the more disappointing things on the island. Such a good space and so much potential for awesomeness.

Could a big techno night work there, bring in CLR and Drumcode? Redshape, Ben Sims, Luke Slater, Dave Clarke etc .
