The renewal of Bob Bradley's contract is a sad day for American footy. IMO he failed to get a good result and should have been sacked. :spank::evil:

Are you on insane? We had a great World Cup run. Definitely better than most expected. And we were in the finals of the Confederations Cup the year before. Bradley is a friggin' hero!

IMO we should have done better. BB is a OK manager but will not take the USA to the next level.

So the transfer window slams shut and yet again Liverpool make a profit for the 4th window running and still we signed no striker. When we sold Robbie Keane back to Spurs we didn't and still haven't got a striker into replace him. This is in a time when;

Ticket prices at Anfield are the highest they have ever been.
Prize-money for competitions has never been more rewarding.
Biggest TV deal in the history of the game.

We're ****ed. Big time.

The USA soccer nation majority wanted BB out as the manager. We wanted them to at least take a shot at Klingsman or other top tier coach.

I take solace from the fact that we were an unwilling seller with Masca.

Worrying days tho

Newcastle syndrome pure and simple.

Let me guess - you belong up there with Brazil, Argentina etc?!!

I think we should make it out of the group stage without problem. We crawled out to the top of our group with a bit of luck. It could have easily gone the other way and we were not out in the group stage to be honest.

World rankings

1 Spain
2 Netherlands
3 Germany
4 Brazil
5 Argentina
6 England
7 Uruguay
8 Portugal
9 Egypt
10 Chile

IMO The rankings seems fair based on performance, only question I have is England a top ten team?

what a load unreserached bunkum!!!

This is a guy who grew up in one of the poorest parts of buenos aries, who refused the offer of plastic surgery from boca juniors to remove the scars from when he was scalded because the scars were "who he was". This is a guy who waited until he was happy with his daughter was placed in the right school before enterring into any negotiations with city. He didnt feel valued by fergie, despite his habit of turning games around when he came off the bench, he was revered at city before he even kicked a ball because of the way he plays and he is doing his talking, as ever, on the field, not only with his goals but his general play and attitude. The signing of the summer bar none!!

lol :D

Tevez......

Boca

Tevez forces his way out of the club claiming that the press intrusion in Argentina is too much for him and his family and the club aren't doing enough to support him. Public bust up with manager also ensues.

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

Time at club - 2 1/2 seasons.

Corinthians

Tevez forces his way out of the club, going on strike, after arguments - some physical - with teammates, the head coach and the club president.

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

Time at club - 1 season.

_________________________________________________________________________________

West Ham

Tevez almost immediately falls out with the manager and players. Storms off and threatens to go on strike after being substituted. Goes AWOL to Argentina at one point.

Strings the club along before swiftly ditching them.

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

Time at club - 1 season.

_________________________________________________________________________________

Manchester United

Tevez complains of being fatigued and overplayed in his first season. In his second, he complains of being underplayed - drama queening it every time he's taken off - managing just 5 goals, despite playing more minutes than the league's third top scorer Fernando Torres.

Parting shot of 'I'll scream in Ferguson's face when I score against them'

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

Time at club - 2 seasons.

Manchester City

Tevez is tired, homesick, wants to retire, takes time off to see his daughter and is caught on camera spending that time banging his mistress (the actual banging remains unphotographed), feels there's too much greed in football despite being the highest paid player in Britain, hates football in general yet throws a wobbly every time he's taken off, wants his old life back, hates the club executives, claims that he would like to punch his young teammates and finally hands in a transfer request.

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

What a difference a week makes.

This time last week on the City website in a video interview at his house Tevez was talking about how much he enjoyed it here.
He talked about missing his kids but was quite clear that he accepted that once he retired he would have plenty of time to spend with them and that he was 100% committed.
I appreciate a week is a very long time in football but is this another case of agents looking for more cash?
Looks like the remainder of his 3 1/2 years could be best suited to the reserves playing at Hyde ground every week!

If west ham had won on saturday it would have been great for the press and the headlines writers "one man team blah blah blah" but our defensive minded boring midfield proved anything but.

I wonder if the armband has been given back to Toure yet?
