The Club can confirm that it has reached agreement with Santos for Robinho to join them on a six-month loan. The agreement takes immediate effect and ends on August 4.

Santos will assume all of the player's contract terms, including wages and bonuses. Robinho will travel to Brazil on Sunday to begin his loan period.
Manager Roberto Mancini said: "Robinho is someone who needs to be playing regularly and we wish him well for the period of his loan."
Robinho joined City on the final day of the transfer window of summer 2008 for a British record fee of £32.5m from Real Madrid.
He signed on the first day of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed's ownership and enjoyed a fine season, ending the campaign as top scorer with 15 goals, including a hat-trick against Stoke.
Robinho, who left Santos for Real Madrid in 2005, is first choice for Brazil, with whom he won the Confederations Cup last summer, but fears a lack of match action will jeopardise his place.

Eidur been retired for 4 years or however long he left Chelsea and clearly has no stomach for a fight.

He would rather warm the bench at Spurs(like at Chelsea/Barcelona) than play every week shows total lack of motivation and ambition to play. Plus how do you motivate a millionaire?

Come on. You guys need all the help you can get. Plus, I think Franco & Steve could have gotten him playing. I think his best position is behind the strikers, though, and you need someone up front?

Probably.

Oh i'm not disputing it but he has been on the verge of joining us for 2 years and fed up with it all to be honest. I'd rather have a player that wants to play for us.

We have loads of strikers just not very good ones!:lol:

Same thing happened way back when. My dads partner lived inbetween Kenny Daglish and Peter Beardsley. Kenny was aparently knocking off Mrs Beardlsey (Can you blame her :lol:), thasts why he was sold 'prematurely' to Newcastle (apparently) ;)

Old King Kenny couldnt keep it in his trousers and eneded up having to sell arguably our best player at the time :spank:

Only my detest for Mr Redknapp surpasses my hatred for this berk! It is testing my loyalty to my country in whether I can cheet them on in the world cup!He paid a bird off before to keep her mouth shut so would not surprise me.

Back onto randy team mates or managers in this case - Mr Pardew lost the dressing room and eventually his job for slipping on eof the player's wives one at West Ham. He loaned the player out (Carl Fletcher) and was going round there and poling her while he was away. Think he even tried his luck with a Liverpool player's wife prior to the FA Cup final in order to get inside information. What a cock!:lol:
