I'd watch it mate them spys get everywhere!

caught the second half in a pub surrounded by several exciteable Japanese people, all to a man backing Barca - all quite surreal!

relief rather than euphoria, this time - Puyol played a blinder!

Agreed.

Incredible atmosphere, worth every penny of the £250 ticket we got.

Also thought Messi was better than some critics have said. Seeing him surrounded by 3 men and wriggle his way out of it is truly amazing to see in front of you.

Plus I managed to see 6 of the top 7 players in the planet at the moment (according to France Football)

Even as an Arsenal fan, of sorts, I have to admit Wenger is starting to embarass himself.

Heard they were having a bit of a "set to" in the first half, didnt know it was because of hughes grabbing the ball from wengers feet. Maybe hes just pissed at the fact he's lost twice (albeit with his 2nd string on one occasion), quite convincingly to a team who he regularly used to dish out a footballing lesson. Cant understand himd undervaluing the comptetion this season as it represents one of only 2 chances of silverware this season.

based on the assumption they will definately not win the champs league

Indeed.

christ, what i dont get is when you get to the QF's of the league cup, its only 4 games from possibly winning a trophy. 4 measley games to give the fans a day out!

even 'Arry's getting ahead of himself by fielding a 2nd string.

(3 games. And 2 to give tha fans a day out)

Wenger's just got the whopping project that, when it comes to fruition, will be the greatest managerial football acheievement the game has ever seen.

Un/fortunately, the fans will go through a load of seasons of disappointment as the managers stubborn-ness writes off another potential trophy with a squad who fail to make the grade when it comes to experience and the killer instinct.

I hate to say it (well I don't, actually, I'm a huge admirer of the man, especially amongst the sea of ****s that permeate modern football and it's journalism), but when the Wenger Plan works, and he wins his first ECL, with 15 obscenely talented kids that have cost next to nothing, playing the smooth passing game they have become known for, the world will, or at least should, bow down to the greatest manager ever to have graced the game. Especially in the modern era of chequebook football.

Til then, he's just a diddery old paedophile looking scumbag

The man's a genius but his claiming Arsenal treated fairly looks likes the FAI asking for a extra place at the World Cup.

what can I say, a great performance, could have gone either way, nice to see Tevez finally getting to full fitness and showing why we bought him and a MASSIVE, MASSIVE performance from De Jong, slowly becoming a favourite of mine with a "makalelesque" performance!!

Just over a year ago I was at Eastlands to see the man city v chelsea game. we got done 3.1 by a team that were way better than us although we showed some promising glimpses. Saturday we played virtually the same chelsea side with the obvious different result. We are making progress!! :)

another weekend and another 2pts dropped.
Ya, but exciting match to watch yesterday!
As was Man City's deserved victory on Sat.
Even the Portsmouth-Burnley game was entertaining

Premier League keepers all apparently given performance-enhancing drugs this past week.

Or, conversely, England players already practicing missing penalties before the World Cup :!:

on current form, at least 11 sides in the premiership are worthy of relegation - seems terribly unfair only 3 of them will be afforded that privilege
