The footy !!

a bit inaccurate, as they still have the UEFAopa and FA Cup to play for. (the football association cup, not the fu*k all cup).

Relatively easy night for Barca in the end. We were great n the first half, reminded me of games we played last year.

Inter looked distinctly average.

Even had time to watch other games. Always thought Fiorentina were going to win.

Out of order I know, but it made me laugh...:lol::lol::lol:

Apols in advance...

Right, wont be here to comment about the biggest match in the history of football on sunday  (Sorry Matt + Morbs , NOT Chelsea v Arsenal)

As i'll be in Barcelona seeing it live.. :D:D:D

Just to say we should win it, far better as a team at the moment.

vamossss BARCA!!!!

Arsenal playing to stay top 4 now I'd say. Utd might catch Chelsea during the African Nations but if not it's all Chelsea's.

How much room did Cashley have for the two passes he played for the first two goals???!!

Some Arsenal players gave up early on. They were a number of instances when Arshavin lost the ball and then actually stood still and let Chelsea walk past him with it. The were a couple of 50/50 where Eduardo could have challenged Cech and he didn't. Shouldn't need to think twice about an opportunity to get a keeper who is (understandably) worried about being clattered rattled.

Drogba - soooo annoying but completely unplayable

In the big game of the weekend, I scored a half yard screamer in our 3-1 win on Saturday, having taken the keeper and full back out at a corner with my big fat arse!

I hope it'll all play out before then. If we keep/improve our cushion over the holidays then we can ride out the ACN.

How good were those crosses? I told a friend that I hoped the crowd would boo him louder as it seemed to be working quite well

Apparently, he really doesn't do very much  ;)
He's having a very good year. And he's toned down the theatrics a bit. Hope it holds up!

caught the second half in a pub surrounded by several exciteable Japanese people, all to a man backing Barca - all quite surreal!

relief rather than euphoria, this time - Puyol played a blinder!

Nice!

Madrid don't look anythng like a team. Ronaldo gets it, runs down the wing tries to beat everyone. YAAAWWNNNN.

I thought what summed it up was the lack of lateral movement from Madrid - all one way, hoof it forward. Barca, classy, confident, wonderful touches.

And that game yesterday shows why my beloved arsenal won't win anything this season, nice pretty pessesion football with no end product.
And i agree about the wenger whine, i wish he wouldn't do it it's very embarassing and everyone knows the score.I think he may have been trying to cover up for the teams glaring deficencies.

The Daily Mail (admittedly, one of my least favorite UK newspapers) appears to agree with you. Nice graphic they put together.

It seems to me that the more money other teams spend the more wenger becomes determined not to ans it's becoming a bit of a crusade for him i feel. But everybody else in the country with half a clue about football can see what arsenal need, EXPERIENCE and that can't be coached, a couple of experinced internationals and i think that would make a big difference.

Also on channel 4 last night a documentary about russian oligarchs, mr usmanov the potential arsenal owner has quite a colourful past!!.
But then again i'm sure mr abramovich has a few skeletons.
