The footy !!

According to alex ferguson on sky sports this morning the referee in yesterdays game wasn't experienced enough and vidic shouldn't have been sent off.

He's f**king priceless.

Thats just a classic Ferguson ploy of taking the attention away from the poor performance of his players, who were krap yesterday.

Chelsea have it to loose this year.

Why is no one talking about the real story over the weekend?
No, not Chelsea's thrilling rout of poor little Blackburn (and return to the top of the table).

I'm talking about...
Spurs 0 - Stoke 1
:lol::lol::lol:
I watched most of the match. Highway robbery at its finest

By contrast, the Hammers' comeback against the Arse in the 2nd half was quite fun to watch. 8)

fair play to Stoke, snatch and grab of the highest order.

the arse are next... 3-3!

;)

Thought lucas was immense yesterday, him And Masch were awesome. Lucas didnt let Scholes get a look in, then got an assist. Just hope he can keep it up

lucas did as many bad things as good things. some shocking challenges, distribution and decision making.

luckily, he is doing more and more stuff right, so it's at least going in the right direction. still not fit to lace xabi's boots. kuyt was crap yesterday too.

as for united, poor display all round i thought. didn't notice scholes was playing.

Agree with Grego but at least Lucas put it in where previously his head wouldn't have bothered.

Let's hope Benitez sticks with Benayoun now. Shades (and I mean shades) of McManaman yesterday.....

Chewie, is your sig gonna stay all season?

;)

it's still chelsea or Utd for eventual honours. factoid.

most watchable side in the country at the moment though are Wigan. Playing beautiful stuff. Full respect Roberto Martinez.

talking of spanish managers - Guardiola last night orchestrated a 6-1 demolition of a rather rubbish Zaragoza last night, featuring a rather helpless Jermaine Pennant :D

Thats the thing, he was ever only back up for Alonso, Alquilani is alonso's replacement, once hes fit Lucas wont be automatic choice. I think the lad is doing ok so far, especially with all the flack he has been receiving. He's only young, and I think him and Masch looked comfortable together sunday, so hopefuly they can keep it up.

Aurelio looked dangerous also, very unlucky not to score the free kick. Masch, Lucas Aurelio and Benayoun did a wonderful job of not letting Manures midfield play.

Benayoun was excellent again yesterday, whenever he got the ball he looked very menacing. Very McManman like.

If Alquilani can get match fit soon, and with Gerrard back, we look strong in midfield.

And as for the defence, they seemed back to their reassuring selves. So with the defence palying better, along with this confidence boosting win, we can hopefuly now string a load of wins together and get back in the thick of things.

Starting with Arsenal on wednesday 8)

Well what a day.
My beloved arsenal won (didn't expect that had that game down for a draw)
Liverpool implode and i really can't believe it they are on a run from hell can rafa see it out? if they lose against lyon in midweek surely he'll have to go.
Chelsea beat bolton again 4-0 ( if they beat them again this season do they get to keep them?)
United about to kick off rio and vidic both out come on big sam.
