The Footy... (2011-2012 season)

I know that mate just a bit of gentle teasing pre match hence the ;)

I remember the 04 and loosing to palace! Then beating Preston in 05!

should be a cracker this one!

Obviously in something of a playoff ourselves this Sunday so suitably bricking it myself!!

Tough one for neutrals... I'd love to see QPR relegated but also wouldn't mine seeing City come up short

I'm going to send you a white ribbon badge...wear it with pride!!!

I've just switched my allegiance to Bayern for the final then!!!

On a serious note, a City win wouldnt necessarily see QPR down. Bolton also need a win at Stewk!!!

Hey Morbs - you would surely miss your noisey neighbours :p:p

Ideal scenario for me - Have a soft spot for City so would love them to win the league but not at the expense of QPR relegation. City desrve to win because A) Fans Actualy from Manchester deserve a premiership title and well there fans always seem a decent bunch.

Bolton Draw / Lose - Man City Win - Both sets of the fans at the Etihad are happy !

Also would want the cheating Diving Young, Howard Webb as 12th man. fergie time Plastic mancs to win title over City. Only thing i worry about is that if City do win THIS year and chelsea dont win the champions league a high percentage of there fans will start to follow city ( ive been following them all my life /since the Ruud Gulit / dennis wise days & we have 8 years of history fans).

QPR - based on Home wins against most of the top teams and giving City one of the hardest games of the season we desrve to stay up, even if we do go down we have good owners and a really great foundation is being laid for the future irespective of what competion we will be playing in next year. If the Clint Hill goal against Bolton (which was clearly over the line) been given we would be safe now.

I would have taken relegation at the begining of the season if it mean a home win over Chelsea and tony fernandes & The Mittal family running the club without the clowns (Briatorie and Ecclestone) and well thats the minimum we are going to have.

Also I know who i want to win the Champions League Final :D:D:D

Overall im calm about this weekend - If we stay up id be delighted if we go down well I will still be proud of my team. We have faced relegation enough in recent times to know all will be ok and gone are the days of bucket collections etc to keep the club in buisness we actualy have a future that for once we can be excited about .

Sorry mate, but if I understood you correctly here, that's damn near the stupidest thing I've read

Man City dont have many of them fans at the moment, there pretty decent when it comes to supporting there team and been through a few ups and downs so they deserve a little success just be a shame that they will attract a few glory hunting Cnunts who generally plead that they supported a team all there life and then few years later there supporting another boyhood club. The football supporters equivilent to Robbie Keane

Boo! Come on... you've got to want Chelsea to win. Spurs (or Arsenal) finishing 4th and still only ending up in the Europa League? Priceless!

Boo that would not be good for the gunners. I'm neutral for the CL final, I just hope both sides go for goal and not park the bus;)

Was reading somewhere before that the last time Athletico Madrid won the Europa league, Blackpool were promoted by the play offs and Bayern Munich lost in the Champions League final....

Only 2 years ago as well....de ja vu?

Was just about to say that - not sure where I read it but the internet seems to be awash with it in certain quarters. Sorry hammers fans but I'd love to see Holloway back in the premiership again you can keep that ****-**** Brady in the championship

^^ This.

Yes, sorry all you Irons out there, but find me a neutral who doesn't want to see Holloway and his Tangerine barmy army back in the top-flight and I'll show you a fool.

Far rather Ollie's ever humurous tirides on MOTD & Pool's cavalier gung-ho approach than morbid Big Sam and his long ball game.

like many others, would love to see the tangerine army back in the Prem, on the same note, I have a few good mates who are Irons fans so I would say either way I'm happy!!

And that's the thing we'll be massive underdogs on the day. This always plays into our favour.
