The Footy... (2011-2012 season)

why are you not up in arms about manure getting £40 million from DHL for to sponsor the training kit!!

Is DHL owned by the Glazer family then ;) :?: If so then it should 100% be investigated, as should yours mate.

Listen JJ, Ive nothing against Man city, I actually like them and would love nothing more than for you to win the PL if we cant. But at the end of the day if rules have been blatantly broken then you should get punnished, simple as.

I think for the meeting City should excersise some Jedi stuff

garry cook - "you dont need to examine this deal"

UEFA - "we dont need to examine this deal"

garry cook " everything is above board, this does not circumvent the ruling"

garry cook - "the matter is closed, we can carry on as we were"

I'll be there for that game to as I am for most.

I don't see why City are going for Nasri really as it's not as if they need him. I think the squad they have now is more than enough to challenge for the title. He is very similar to Silva although I'd say Silva was better IMO.

He could always replace A Johnson in the team i suppose.

He can do what silva does, however he can also go deeper and be more of a midfielder too. Last year at one point, with injuries and ****, our only attacker was tevez, strength in depth!!

Top of the league after a decent display against Bolton. Great to see Henderson and Adam get off the mark with their first goals. 8)

And I see Drogba's back to his old ways, blatant diving in the box

(Glads he's ok, looked quite scary :()

I've not been impressed by Henderson since we signed him. Poor for the Under 21s in summer and not played well at all in the first two games.

Really showed his true potential yesterday though with his goal and some excellent crossing /passing.

Played the best I've seen us in a very long time yesterday so much so we made Bolton look like one of the poorest sides in the league when they've played really well in their first two games.

I hope we do sign Coates and get Bellamy on a free as i think then we'll have decent cover in every position. Still have the likes of gerrard & Johnson to return as well.

Seeing Bellend in the red shirt was painful enough the first time round.

No thanks.

Sorry Stu, I'm with him on this one. I think he'd make a great signing for free, as long as Kenny can keep him under control (and if anyone can KD can) he'd be a great squad member, as an impact player and back up for Suarez and Carol we couldnt do much worse, Ngog is probably on his way out, and Kuyt isnt great in the Striker roll.

He's 32 and tbh probably has a point to prove. But then again i can see him going to Spurs with ol' Arry instead of us.

He didn't make the grade at Citeh, even before Dzeko and Aguero arrived and he's spent a year in the Championship where it's a much easier ride, and at a club where it's all about him....

...and that's the problem.

At Anfield he'd be a background player, bit of Carling Cup plus 10 minutes here and there, and whereas Robbie Fowler was ready to accept those conditions in order to have his swansong, the hunchback doesn't have the same good grace and would be a liability in the dressing room, training pitch (and the City Centre).

If Suarez gets crocked, I'd put young Raheem Sterling and/or Nathan Ecclestone into the mix, and if (when) Carroll misses some games, Kuyt has already shown he can combine with Suarez better than most.

We're better off without Gollom IMHO.

It was horrible match result the 8-2 spanking the gunners got. I hope this gets AW to go out and get some transfers. There is no reason not to now.

Watching with a fellow Arsenal follower, the minute we saw the teams, we knew a hiding was to follow. Can't believe anyone, Wenger included, thought any different!

You would only go there and have a go if you were a strong team even chelsea go there and park the bus.
