The EES/ETIAS experience thread!

Mmm...took about half hour for us, but there was lots of people having problems and ours was only flight of largely UK passengers there. I'd imagine more flights at the same time would be chaos. The two workers directly people were clearly very stressed and being very rude and unwelcoming. All things considered, you can't blame them!
If you are on a different passport than wife/kids, are you separated in any way or can you go through the gate/s together?

I was first through as used my "by door opposite the driver" on the bus from plane to be first through the queue.

Daughter and her friend were on second bus so behind people and were still through shortly after us.

Because we registered in December in Madrid we scanned our passport on the EES machines and then no fingerprints, just said to go to eGates. Expect any delays to reduce over time as less people scan for the first time.

Still had passport stamped though so the old and new process still seemingly in place.

Of course going back out is where I think Tenerife has issues sometimes so will report back after return flight Monday.
