Siouxsie and the Banshees (LOVE HER!!)

I have actually never heard of this one: Screaming Blue Messiahs

I am impressed!
Siouxsie RULES. Saw them in concert once with Julian Cope opening. Massive.

The Messiahs were a late-80s alternative rock band... got lots of airplay on MTV's 120 minutes before selling out and going on to do a hit song called "I Wanna Be a Flintstone"

I'm just naming any band with the letter 'whatever' because I have been at the pub and I'm f**ked! :D

Am I breaking the rules then? :?:

Is it pre 1990 only or something?

If so - i'm not playing and i'm taking my ball back in doors. (Mainly because my head hurts and my pre 1990 musical knowledge stretches about as far as Elvis - E, The Beetles - B and the Rolling Stones - R or S depending on how picky you want to be!

Good night - I need some water and an asprin.

Oooh I remember 120 minutes. Back when MTV was worth watching. I loved that show. And Post-Modern MTV? I saw Siouxsie at the first Lollapalooza when I was 12. I loved it. It was during the Kiss them for me time, but she is still great. And I love the Creatures album in the 80s.

Lollapalooza was the 2nd time I saw her. Great show from start to finish.

Most religious moment of the festival had to be Jane's Addiction's The Mountain Song. Full blast with the stage light's when Perry Farrell sang the line "Coming down the mountain!". Awesome.

Which has to be one of my fave Jane's Addiction songs. I was always so grateful that I got to see them there. though I could do without the Butthole Surfers...But Trent Reznor was great, I remember

I was such a territorial little goth back then too. I hated it when I saw "normal" people like my type of music. But I was only 12. Hey, wait I still do that! I guess I am a music snob
