Tell us how it was - Ibiza 2025

Dates you were there: 17-22 July 2025

Where you stayed: Hotel Mim/Es Vive

Club nights visited: The Streets at Amnesia. Ocean Beach Fri, Sat, Sun and Monday.

Best night: Ocean Beach

Worst night: Amnesia. Too many lasers. The lights were blinding my eyes!

Best bar: Ocean Beach

Best place to eat: Ocean Beach

Best beach and/or beach club: Ocean Beach

Money spent: Not much. So many friendly men

Biggest regret: Bernadette got us both invited to a private party with Wayne L and I didn't go. I'd met a chap who looked just like my famous lover, and thought what the hell so went back to his place. His tastes were beyond what I am used to, even from my sinning days, and I will need to pray for forgiveness from Him. I'm sure a lovely cup of tea would with Wayne have been preferable and needed less penance. That said he clearly needs to put some signs up around his pool. Bernadette said she slipped over by it and can't sit down at all ever since. She had to inflate her life jacket on the plane and sit on it like a rubber ring. Scraped her elbows and knees in the fall too, the poor thing.

Going back?: Bernadette thinks her and Wayne may become an item, and apparently he said of course her twin sister can come and stay too! Isn't that so nice?!

Top tip: All the men in Ibiza are lovely. They'll even buy you drinks.

Observations and/or conclusion: Choose wisely. We didn't go to O Beach on Thursday or Tuesday, when looking back we should have!

This reminds me @Buckley .......... When are you going to bring your Beans character back? ;)

Dates you were there: July 23-26

Where you stayed: Hostal La Torre. All very slick and it is gorgeous. If you are a repeat guest and you book before the end of Feb you can get up to 25% off. We only had 1 sunset there in the end and there was a pissed up nob playing "Ninetoes..Finder" on his phone at the business end of the sunset...took a lot of strength not to make a scene. Not 100% sure I'll return to stay...would maybe look for somewhere with a pool next time.

On his insta 'Back from a legendary Sunset gig at the iconic Hostal La Torre....'

On his insta 'Back from a legendary Sunset gig at the iconic Hostal La Torre....'

That's the sad thing..he was either posting a story or watching a story back...music deffo seemed quieter at La Torre as well...not sure if that's at all linked to the sa trinxa/benirras stuff etc

I had a drink it what was Orange Corner/Kiwi Bar the Saturday night - not sure what they are trying to do with, but looks awful
I was there 2 weeks ago and it took for ever to get served despite being lots of staff and about 4 people in there.

Chinois - Trip, Honey Dijon, Claptone, my new fav club on the island, very underrated. Great sound system, great line ups, nice crowd, people there to dance and party not take photos, give it try.

Las Dallias - Hernan Cattanio, another underrated club, mainly locals and Europeans, fun hippy vibes. It’s a mission to get there but worth the effort if you want to try something different.
Are they enforcing the dress code at Chinois? ie are men getting in wearing shorts?

Second time this year and a lot earlier than originally planned so was very much an 'Ibiza on a budget' trip.

Dates you were there: 1st to 5th August

Where you stayed: Vibra Central City. Wasn't expecting a lot at all but the room was nice and big and had a kitchenette . Couple of ants roaming about the floor every now and again so probably not for everyone but stayed in far worse 😂 Pool area was a decent enough size and nobody seemed bothered about bringing your own drink down there.

Club nights visited: Music On, Glitterbox

Best night: Glitterbox. We were debating for ages before we went whether to go to Amnesia or UNVRS but ended up bumping into a mate by chance and him and his girlfriend were off to Glitterbox so we just ended up going there. Hadn't even looked who was on but Floorplan were mint.

Worst night: Neither, really enjoyed both

Best bar: Sat in Golden Buddha for a good few hours one of the days which was nice.

Best place to eat: Did it on a budget so didn't eat out too much, couple of quick meals on some of them along the front in San An. Did have a spur of the moment steak in O Beach which was decent although it came with literally 3 cherry tomatoes and this 2cm x 2cm potato square thing so didn't keep me full for long.

Best beach and/or beach club: Only went to O Beach really.

Money spent: Around £630 for flights and hotel (which was extortionate compared to when we went in May but to be expected I suppose) and then probably around £400 on tickets/food/taxis.

Biggest regret: Would have liked to have stayed longer for Music On. Overdid it far too much early doors

Going back?: Definitely. Always has to be quite a last minute decision as we've got an arsehole of a dachshund (he's not all bad but he's very temperamental around other people/dogs/anything and everything 😂) that we struggle to find anyone to look after so we can only really go when my girlfriend's Dad is free and can look after him. Hopefully end of September/early October

Top tip: Book tickets online and add the drinks package if going to Pacha. Absolute no-brainer

Observations and/or conclusion: Definitely more enjoyable if you can do it properly but would still encourage people to go even if they're on a budget. Balcony pre-drinks, cheap food or supermarket supplies, buses instead of taxis etc..

Dates you were there:
August 1-6 2025

Where you stayed:
3 nights Ushuaia hotel, 3 nights Torre del Mar

Club nights visited:
- Kalvin Harris at Ushuaia
It's a press play show. Can imagine if you are a fan you can enjoy it

- Woomoon at Cova Santa
Outside amazing. Inside, music great. Lot's of guy's trying their luck in the inside part

- Ants at Ushuaia
Always great atmosphere, the only party I really like at Ushuaia

- Elrow at UNVRS
The later the evening, the more drunk pushy people. We have a feeling this had to do with the crowd Hugel pulls

- Kygo at Ushuaia
If you are a fan, go see this. Lot's of live singers and in general great atmosphere. It only starts going just before Kygo get's on stage however

- Bedouin at Club Chinois
First time Bedouin and Chinois and what a night it was, fantastic!

- Circoloco at DC10
Crowded, stayed near the backstage door. Music was great, people in general were nice and here the girl's were trying there luck and I got a spank on my butt from a man. What more do I want? 😂

- Resistance at Amnesia
Terrace was empty until halfway Joris Voorn his set and never reached more than 80% capacity throughout the night. The balcony we were on literally had around 20-30 people at any given time. Nice room to dance and atmosphere was great. Hurts however to see Amnesia like this

- Ibiza Anthems at Ibiza Rocks
Since we had a late flight back and never been here we decided to get a day life pass which gave access to some beds, which we managed to score after some waiting. Prices are great for Ibiza and overall this was a nice surprise and nice way to end the trip. It was not busy however. I don't know if it's always like this or because of the recent news. Vibe was still there though

Best night:
- Bedouin at Club Chinois was a fantastic surprise!

Worst night:
- Elrow at UNVRS. Too many drunk pushy people crammed together

Best bar:
- Almost ashamed to say, but this trip it must have been Ibiza Rocks 😂. Great atmosphere, everybody very friendly. Coco's bar and kitchen in the old town was nice as well.

Best place to eat:
- During this trip it was Hell's Kitchen. But overpriced for what it was

Best beach and/or beach club:
- Torre del Mar

Money spent:
- Too much...

Biggest regret:
- None

Going back?:
- Probably next year. We always say to skip next year, always end up going back

Top tip:
- Do not miss out on Bedouin at Club Chinois. I booked a suite in the Ushuaia beach hotel. I could get a "cheap" upgrade to a stage view suite for 3 nights which made it worth it to experience it once. Would never pay the going rate for that room. You can try to "game" the system and see if you get a similar "offer" as well and get a great discount

Observations and/or conclusion:
- First 3 nights in Ushuaia and then the more relaxed Torre del Mar was a great combination. DC10 was busy as you would expect but most of the crowd was very friendly. Kalvin Harris and Kygo were better than expected, I have to admit 😂, would never pay the general entrance for those parties however. Woomoon at Cova Santa outside part was great, inside part not so much, next time we will just do dinner there, enjoy outside and go somewhere else.

Lol holiday is off to a cracking start. Staying at a hotel that shall remain nameless, got checked in and took a disco nap (been traveling for just shy of 24 hrs). Woke up and started putting clothes away, opened a drawer and found someone had left ~ 1/2 a gram of Columbia's finest crushed out on a card and ten euro note rolled up next to it.

Comedy or tragedy?
win win!

Dates you were there: Aug 7-11

Where you stayed: Los Molinos in Figueretes. We like the pool and the walk into town.

Club nights visited:
Akasha for Sven Vath’s night. First time at Akasha and first time to see him play in Ibiza. Caught the last hour in the garden which was a nice scene. Seemed like a lot of people didn’t carry on inside but was still a good busy with space to dance in there. Left at 2:30 & there were 4-5 cabs outside. No camera policy inside (stickers on lenses). Sven politely declined my cheeky request for a selfie before his set.

Chinois for Shimza & Co. We loved Pablo Fierro’s night here the last 2 years (Dennis Ferrer in 2023!) and quite like Chinois so decided to check out the new lineup. We missed the tips about getting the EUR45 ticket including drinks which are much better value than the EUR25 early entry ticket (eg 1 water + 1 Coke = EUR22). Anyway, we did catch all the acts: Le Yora/Kitty Amor/Arodes/Shimza (3:30-close). All did their jobs, but really enjoyed Arodes and particularly Shimza - fun, lively, groovy set with lots of vocals and he plays with a huge smile on his face. Stayed till 5:45. Good mixed crowd, and no enforcing of the trousers code - loads of men were in shorts.

Playa Soleil for All I Need. To check out another smaller & earlier club on our last night. Arrived 10:45, enjoyed the DJ playing until 11:45 (short bleach-blond mop hair & sunglasses) and then Andrea Oliva b2b with Arodes until 1 when it started to get a bit samey so decided to go to Glitterbox. Soleil was busy enough, not packed and we were mainly upstairs on the balcony where there was loads of space - the EUR2-3000 VIP tables hadn’t sold out (do they ever?).

Glitterbox at Hi. We loved Glitterbox at Space and pre-Covid at Hi. Last went in July 2022 and it was packed, but a good crowd. This time - we still liked the DJs, and there was more room - still full but maybe 15-20% less busy so you could find room to dance even close to the front of the Theatre and loads of room in the Club. Bit disappointed in the crowd tho - a wide range of ages including family groups but overall a bit younger than remembered/expected, which is fine, but overall the crowd just seemed more boring than in the past, and too many didn't act like house & disco lovers.

Best night:
Pfff, who’s your favourite child? Will go with Chinois because of Shimza’s set, but enjoyed them all esp. Sven Vath, Arodes & DJ Spen.

Worst night: None

Best bar: Didn’t feature

Best place to eat:
Fish Shack - a must every trip for the perfect simple food, location and friendly staff. Honourable mention to the Jockey Club.

Best beach and/or beach club: Had a quick dip at Salinas before a late lunch there - the beach was packed & 30 minutes was enough. Otherwise just swam in the sea next to the hotel

Money spent: Around EUR4k all in for 2 people....a lot, but that’s mainly flights & hotel, and only 1 visit a year so no regrets

Biggest regret:
Would have liked to go to Saga, but prefer not to visit any club more than once per trip. Missed out on tapas at El Zaguan - next time.

Going back?: Hopefully next year, we still enjoy it

Top tip: Renting a scooter for a day or 2 opens up a lot of opportunities and can pay for itself very quickly. And see Chinois comment above.

Observations and/or conclusion:
Hard to say if the island was any more or less busy than in previous peak seasons. Ibiza town was heaving on Friday night, but there were cruise ships in town and an event on (fireworks?). Sitting outside over dinner we got 3 club pitches - for ANTS, Cova Santa and Lio. It felt unusual, so I do think UNVRS is having an impact on the scene. None of the clubs were packed, Chinois was similarly full to previous years, Glitterbox was definitely more comfortable than our last visit.

Many thanks to previous posters, it’s interesting to hear about your experiences

Thanks for review, i'm over for 3 days so tempted with the scooter options. Chinois is on the cards, I want to visit but debating Sat 20th whether I go 528 Ibiza then Elrow at UNVRS or I head to Chinois for Claptone.

Recently returned from a 10 day stint....

- Somehow ended up at UNRVS 3 nights, Cox and Anyma/Solomun, both packed, and Prydz, busy but room to move for sure. Solid club
- DC10 aug 3rd was as busy as i've ever experienced it
- 528 Hernan party was a great vibe
- Ibiza Town is busy enough. San Antonio was so-so. PDB seemed dead and boring. I feel like Hi and Ushuaia not being the hottest stops in town hurts this area. Plus the "cheap pints and a free shot" crowd seem to have vanished. Probably because every hotel beginning with "Vibra" is going for 350 a night when they should be 150. Among other through the roof costs....
- Cala Comte, as busy as i've seen it
- Cala Saladeta absolutely rammed, had never been there before
- Talamanca - rammed
- Went 4 times to Salinas, so much fun and much more built up than it was back in the day. Lots of free or discounted tickets handed out. Hadn't seen that so much the last few trips
- Amazing dining experiences all over the island, but $$$$

So all in all, some places are dead, but others are quite alive! Mostly it felt like the brits were the ones missing

For context i've been travelling to the island for nearly 20 years

Fuse at 528 veryyyy tempting , but it’s our first day having landed at 7am, and already off to UNVRS that night 😵‍💫

We were looking to goto salinas on the Sunday after Harvey at 528 but obviously put off the fact no dj at Sa Trinxa anymore. Is it still worth going over there?

Free tix for events you say 😜
