Dates you were there: 21-31 may

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): El hotel Pacha/hotel Don Toni

Club nights visited: Wisdom of the Glove opening, IMS, Sankeys opening pt 1, Es Paradis opening, Ushuaia opening, Space opening, Circo Loco opening + Cirque de la nuit boat party, bora bora opening, Sands opening, Grial etc...

Best night: DC 10 1700-2100 :)

Worst night: Es Paradis opening

Best bar: Grial

Best place to eat: Bambuddha and El Carmen for a paella in the sunset

Money spent: 7000

Biggest regret: Not bringing more clothes! It was quite cold...

Going back?: For sure! Maybe in July... ;)

Top tip: Hire a car and see all the beautiful beaches around! Book a room at don Toni hotel facing Ushuaia Tower for some free action from your balcony! ( If you don`t want to dress up! )​

Club nights visited: Space & DC10 opening

Best night: Both

Worst night: Bora Bora opening although no real 'clubnight'

Best bar: Cafe Del Mar/Mambo's

Best place to eat: Walkers (PdB)

Money spent: +-900€

Biggest regret: Not staying longer

Going back?: 13-16 june

Top tip: Go with the flow!!

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Talamanca / Playa Real

Club nights visited: Underground opening / Circo Loco

Best night: Underground opening

Worst night: Circo Loco

Best bar: Some random bar with live music on Talamanca beach. Good vibes.

Best place to eat: The Fish Shack, Talamanca.

Money spent: 400 euros

Biggest regret: Not making Sankeys

Going back?: No doubt again one day. That was my 6th time mind.

Top tip: Went all inc and saved a wedge compared to previous years. Still eat out a few times but could be more picky with eating at nice places then rather than eating out all the time and having to budget. Also hiring a car and exploring is always a good thing to do. Had a car for a week through doyouspain.com for around £60 which I booked the week before going.

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Sal Rossa in Playa d en Bossa

Club nights visited: Ushaiai - Circoloco opening, Space - opening and Sankeys - Flying Circus

Best night: Ushaiai

Worst night: Non - they were all different

Best bar: Bora Bora (in the afternoon early evening)

Best place to eat: Only ate out once (take too much time) at the grill place at Jet

Money spent: €800

Biggest regret: Hit it too hard in Space. Not visiting Ibiza Town (or any other resorts close Bossa)

Going back?: 16-23 Sept

Top tip: Visit a couple of the other resorts

Club nights visited: Ants @ Ushuaïa

Best bar: really enjoyed Varela & the sax @ Tantra

Best place to eat: Walkers (PdB)

Money spent: +-700€

Biggest regret: Going this early in season, you always want to go back..

Going back?: Normally not, but maybe last-minute in september or so

Top tip: Rent a scooter for cruising around, much nicer & no parking problems !

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Central Park Apts

Club nights visited: Hed Kandi opening @ Es Paradis, DJ Mag @ Space and Circo Loco @ Dc10

Best Night: Circo loco does it everytime

Best bar: Highlander (due to it being a Scottish Stag)

Best place to eat: Cant really remember eating :)

Money spent: 600 euro

Biggest regret: none, we had the best laugh

Going back?: Unfortunately not this year again :( .....nxt year for me

Top tip: If your still staying in the San An end, get over to PDB as much as possible and explore the beach club after/parties, thats where its at....... i usually stay in PDB nowadays but San An does for a Stag...​

Biggest regret: no going to cafe Mambo

Going back?: No - too people taking drugs

Top tip: stay off the house stuff buy the proper sttuff

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Es trull de Can palau (overlooking dalt villa)
Club nights visited: Opening Ushuaia, Opening Space.

Best night: Both!! It was the first time we went to Ushuaia, and against all odds, my wife and i loved it.
Worst night: -

Best bar: cap des falco

Best place to eat:Some classic tourist trap restaurant in the port of Santa Eulalia served the best dorade i have ever tasted.

Money spent: ?

Biggest regret: Non

Going back?: September 6

Top tip:To The clubs; do something about overcrowding (and the shortage of toilets for Ushuaia to). Should there really be a new love parade drama before they act??

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Vistamar II, PDB

Club nights visited: Zoo Project / Sankeys / Space / DC10 / Privledge / Amnesia / Ushuaia / Sankeys (Again)

Best night: Circo Loco @ DC10, or We Love @ Space

Worst night: ASOT @ Privledge, or the first trip to Sankeys on Sat 15th.

Best bar: Did not drink in too many really to comment.

Best place to eat: I cannot for the life of me remember the name, but it was in Ibiza Town. Authentic Spanish place, with glass floor above the bar, to the toilets. Near a clothing shop selling a lot of Diesel clothing. Excellent Tapas and Paella.

Money spent: Not checked the damage yet, but ALOT

Biggest regret: Leaving DC10 before Seth Troxler to see Armin.

Going back?: For sure. Just not sure when.

Top tip: If staying in PDB, drink in hotel/apartment. Not really that many 'great' drinks deals in the bars around there. And check out Sankeys

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Poseidon Apartments II, PDB/Figuertas


Club nights visited: Defected vs Carnival @ Sankeys, We Love, Circo Loco, Troupe @ Sankeys


Best night: Circo Loco


Worst night: We Love


Best bar: Bora Bora I guess, didn't hit too many bars


Best place to eat: Casa Manolo - by the Formentera ferry at the Figuertas end of PDB


Money spent: Erm... +-€800-900


Biggest regret: Not going to Sankeys on Wednesday - friends said it was ace.


Going back?: Always. End of September.


Top tip: Pick a sunny day and go to Formentera, that's last year's biggest regret put right.

Ironically this could have been my best night but due to my two friends hating it we left after a few hours - Sankeys (I go back in september with others that will enjoy it so not too bad a thing)

Best place to eat:

Golden budha

Money spent:

Biggest regret:

Having around five things I wanted to really do and only doing a few of them.... An excuse to go back though so no problem there!

Going back?:

Yeah September the 14th for trip number 17!!

Top tip:

I no everyone says it but hire a car, Ibiza has just as much to do in the day as the night so dont waste 50% of your holiday by the pool!

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): private villa cala vadella


Club nights visited: Elrow, Sankeys, Dc10,Cocoon, Enter


Best night: Elrow


Worst night: Sankeys


Best bar: only popped into a couple !


Best place to eat: BBQ by the pool !


Money spent: €2000


Biggest regret: being about 5 minutes drive from Es Vedra and not seeing the sunset !


Going back?: do you really need to ask that ?


Top tip: get a cab drivers card and private number !

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hostal Valencia, San An & Mar Y Playa, Figueretas


Club nights visited: We Love, Cafe Ole, Wax Da Jam opening at Las Dalias & Nu Northern Soul thing at Boutique Hostal Salinas


Best night: Spen @ Cafe Ole was great but the rest was not so Wax Da Jam wins hands down!


Worst night: Everyone else at Cafe Ole!


Best bar: Lo Cura


Best place to eat: Cafe Babel in San An - their black sausage was amazing. Found Cafe Urban in San An, full of locals, great bit of hake.


Money spent: Too much!


Biggest regret: Not doing more during the day.


Going back?: Probably!


Top tip: Take the bus, cheap & reliable.

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): san an / tropical hotel

Club nights visited: cream, judgement fridays

Best night: Cream, PVD was spot on.

Worst night: Judgement Fridays, club very empty, and jules seemed like he couldnt be bothered



Money spent: e400

Biggest regret: none

Going back?: probably in many years time
 
Dates you were there: June 30th - July 5th

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Ushuaia

Club nights visited: Cocoon, Ibiza Calling, ENTER

Best night: Luciano & Friends at Ushuaia.

Worst night: No bad times. ENTER was a bit full. Saw a few minutes of David Guetta @ Ushuaia and was yawning the entire time.


Money spent: I don't want to know.

Biggest regret: none

Going back?: Next year, hopefully.
 
Dates you were there: 29/6-13/7


Where you stayed (resort/hotel): in a gorgeous villa above Cala Gracio


Club nights visited: proper clubs: elrow at vista (my choice) & grand bazaar at Ushuaia (sister's choice). Meals followed by dancing: blue marlin twice (both sundays - 1st Sunday, my friends choice. 2nd Sunday, hubby's choice). We all chose a night.


Best night: Elrow - absolutely pounding & constant. Awesome atmosphere


Worst night: First Sunday at Blue Marlin (BM) with some electro crap dj & Barbara Tucker


(BM on the second Sunday was like a different place - really good night with a live band singing unplugged house followed by Mauro Farrucci & Tommy Vee b2b - great atmosphere with 2003/4/5 house, really friendly people)


Best bar: our villa!


Best place to eat: difficult to say - so many to choose & we ate out loads. Best value I think was La Oliva. The not so great place was Bambuddha Grove. The place seems to have shrunk in size & their sushi was tough & dry. A shame as 2 years ago it was fab.


Money spent: at least £3.5k (including expensive baby sitting).


Biggest regret: none


Going back?: what a question! 24/8 just the hubby & me


Top tip: get a car or scooter & use the disco bus when you're drinking. Be selective about the nights you choose so you don't burn out. Take echinacea, vitamin C & zinc 3 weeks before you go, continue whilst on hol & for a week after to try minimise the risk of Ibizan flu. Stay hydrated. Enjoy every moment as its over so quickly.

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Sirenis Country Club (San Antonio Bay) / Tivoli Apartments (Playa d'en Bossa)

Club nights visited: Zoo Project, We Love, Troupe at Sankeys, Departures at Ushuaia, Music On

Best night: Troupe

Worst night: Didn't have a bad night, but Departures isn't my thing musically.

Best bar: Fleeted between a few never paid much attention to names.

Best place to eat: 43 Tapas bar, on the main road from Figueretas to Ibiza town.

Money spent: £1300 ish

Biggest regret: Being too wrecked on Monday morning/afternoon and not getting our act together to make DC-10 this year. Gutted to see it's on everyone elses best night visited!

Going back?: Yeah, September with the missus this time.

Top tip: After a good many visits I think I've finally learned not too let myself give in to the temptation of getting carried away too early in the day and ending up making the following night out an endurance test! Save yourself so you can really enjoy the clubs right until the end!

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Sirenis Goleta Playa den Bossa

Club nights visited: Cream twice, ASOT twice, We Love, Departures

Best night: ASOT. Armin smashed it both nights and really enjoyed all the other sets on both nights we went

Worst night: Cream. It has been my favourite Ibiza night since i first went in 1998 but the lineups have been very samey for the past few years and i went under sufference purely because everyone else i was there with "couldn't miss Cream" Calvin Harris was playing both nights and although he isn't my thing he did have the terrace absolutely jumping... too jumping in fact. The stage end is an accident waiting to happen and it would be disgusting if it took someone being seriously hurt or worse for them to do something about overcrowding. You have the stage, main room/terrace entrance, a bar, toilets and the main entrance/exit crammed into a 4 square metre area. It's absolutely obscene. Another thing would be for them to make the VIP area accessable from the main room to get rid of the terrace/main room bottleneck? That's probably too simple though. The night on the 11th was the worst one musically... Calvin Harris, A&B (Pavo only) and Arty.... at Cream ffs!! I remember nights they had Tiesto, PvD and Oakenfold on in the main room and other good acts on the terrace. I can understand the if it ain't broke don't fix it point of view but i saw more fights in that one night than i've seen in 25 visits to Ibiza altogether.

Best bar: Really loved Dunes in PdB but also Pago Pago was nice

Best place to eat: Km5. Fish Shack was great too and also the BarBq place in PdB behind Jet was great value and very tasty

Money spent: about £3000 between us

Biggest regret: Missing Coxy opening party because we were knackered and not trying Sankeys one night

Going back?: Sept 1st for 6 days!!!

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hostel Roca, San Antonio

Club nights visited: Insane at Pacha, Zoo Project, We Love, Circo Loco and Cocoon

Best night: We Love

Worst night: Cocoon

Best bar: Plastik, Itaca, Hush, Kasbah and Golden Buddha.

Best place to eat: Had great meals at David's, Curry club and Kasbah

Money spent: 850 euros

Biggest regret: Missing Enter and Used and Abused due to being absolutely knackered.

Going back?: Yep, for 4 days in August

Top tip: Pick and choose the nights you want to go to and have a few nights off in between. Use the disco bus and don't miss Circo Loco
