Zulu Lounge New Release: Mar y Tierra
Zulu Lounge is proud to present their fifth release entitled Mar y Tierra which will immerse you into a world of relaxation, serenity and warmth.
Zulu Lounge was born as a Restaurant-bar in Playa del Carmen in the Mexican Mayan Riviera in 1997. Since then, Xavier Fux (Vatos Locos) has released four compilations and a restaurant in the northern and quaint,virgin shores of Portinatx*, Ibiza, where in a short time, the place has settled itself as a “fresh” and serene hangout to enjoy the beach and sunset……
Mar y Tierra is a mystic journey through inspiring soundscapes in which Brazilian, Afghan, Morroccan, and Hindu singers create a contrast between electronic futurism and ethnic traditionalism, thus creating a rich combination of textures and melodies.
Fat, chunky beats, Hindu tabla, harps, flamenco guitars, dubby bass lines, and etheric atmospheres mix perfectly to create a fusion between different world cultures and sounds, in order to transport you far away from your mind…..
Featuring new and exclusive tracks from artists such as Vatos Locos, Nada, Solid World, Max Maxwell, Ernesto Altes & G Morro, Earthling, and Xavier Fux amongst others, this Cd transmits faithfully the passion that one lives in Ibiza since most artist appearing in the Cd reside in the white Island. And it is for this reason that the Cd achieves to capture and convey the warmth, spirituality, sensuality and joy that has made Ibiza famous.
The Balearic sound is re-inventing itself, and Mar y Tierra is a fundamental piece in this new musical dawn…..

tonight at KUMHARAS theres the presentation of the documentary ibiza en seis días by ramón vila. apart from showing the commercial/touristy/clubbing side of ibiza it also includes parts filmed in atlantis, aigües blanques and other beautiful locations. the soundtrack is provided by hilight tribe!!
as previously reported in another thread KUMHARAS has lost its music licence so not sure how it will be like..........

and the closings arrived!!
at eden, which is a bit early, but it was even more surprising to find out that yesterday there
was lights on and LOTS of cars!!
InspectorMc went there to investigate..........
.......... and found the place specially decorated because they were celebrating a wedding
dinner..........
.......... so after sneaking my way into the bar (what the hell is going on here? ) and doing
some more investigations (hellooooo girlies!! )..........
.......... i found out that the reason why it had the closing on friday is because they have two
weddings this weekend and another one next friday. coastline cafe will be open again to the
public (except the restaurant) from tomorrow till thursday - although it will close just after the
sunset
