Sunday Night Now that We Love has gone?

I am sad to see it move, I'm only 21 and my first ever Ibiza night was a We Love opening and the decision to pick that party was purely based on what it stands for and I've now done 3 in total. From a British perspective there is nothing more "Ibiza" than a Bora Bora / Space Sunday.
 
for me We Love got stale at Space
tried to hard to be underground and a lot of parties on the terrace lost that vibe that was in the early Home/We Love days
the likes of Lawler or Morillo on the terrace
too much tech-house on there for me lately
 
We Love in the early 2000's was amazing, was always about the terrace during the day, in fact I remember quite a few people used to leave at 12 midnight when the terrace shut.. the discoteca was usually a lot less busy, room to move and was freezing which was great! Anybody remember the pool table in the corner!

The new laws preventing day time parties killed We Love really, that and the metalic roof on the terrace!

Its a shame, but it has been going down hill, I went every year from 2000 - 2012, and even then the last few were not brilliant.. the arrival of Enter changed a lot of peoples view on which day they visted Space (as well was Cox and Elrow)

Personal opinion but Elrow has been the best thing to happen to Space recently :)

Even prior to the we love announcement, I'd made the decision to do Elrow instead. Looks a good (different) combo to me and there is plenty of good vibes around this night on the forum.

Sunday night will be Solomun + 1 and I'm looking forward to something a little different with this too.

i had posted that in the confirmed section but it was lost when the We Love @ Space thread was deleted!

Space should try out a Vagabundos in the Discoteca alongside something like Glitterbox on the terrace simply playing good ole' house music

when the we love / cadenza collab collapsed, my first thought was that luciano should simply forget about sundays and team up with richie (enter) instead. it would help them both.

Would prefer vagabundos to stay on the terrace (depending on how much of a club takeover they are planning of course) ... But obviously space might not want to go from such a big night like we love has been to a small terrace only event, but I think it would be a good night on a packed terrace with the vagabundos style music as opposed to the discoteca

Luciano needs to team up with a promoter that (like Cadenza) won't fill the main parts of Space solo

Hawtin's ENTER is IMO big enough to carry the rooms its does (most of the club) quite well
his usual residents haven't committed elsewhere as yet so he could have another strong line-up
 
yeah this is where I can't comment anymore now. but it was really just an idea of mine tbh.
 
I think richie might suffer tremendously from hyte on wednesdays (with the likes of dettmann and klock) and a rumoured life and death night at DC10.

I do feel like the Enter hype is dying out. Richie has fell off badly in the last few years IMO. I'd much rather L&D at DC10 than having them as Enter DJs
 
The best thing about ENTER is the 10 till 12 sake bar set. Great idea to get people in early to see a headline act in a more intimate environment.

If the rumours of a L&D ngt are true i hope its not on its own at dc10. We dont need another venue putting on another ngt. It would be much better to hand them the terrace at enter for a selection of dates through the season in the same way luciano had his origins ngt at cocoon last year.
