Sunday Night Now that We Love has gone?

english forum so I'll reply in english...
- we love has definitely moved to sankeys (wednesday nights), so no more we love at space. I've mentioned it, the move may look like a big surprise, but to me it wasn't such a shocker.
- sundays at space will be officially announced soon...
- of course it's a loss for space, but in the next two years a lot of things will happen/change anyway.

The point i was trying to make was we love moving should not in anyway reflect badly on space as a club. Also this is what happens when there are too many options for people on the same ngt. You end up with watered down attendances because we are spread all over the island. We love sankeys is going to experience this same problem with paradise at dc10 and hyte at amnesia on the same ngt. Lets hope for the sake of we love and what it means to us they beat of the competition

I completely agree with you! From my own personable experience, We Love at Space was always much more of a true Balearic experience rather than the kind of "big room" mainstream nights we are seeing now like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike aar Amnesia. Fair play to those guys, but even a few years ago, true Balaeric clubs like Space and Amnesia would have never opened their doors to the likes of these acts. Some clubs are selling out, in my opinion.
 
Yes I guess I was being dramatic. They still have Revolution and Enter and also Elrow. Vagabundos could be good. It's just that I was hoping to experience We Love for the first time at Space ( since this is my first ever Ibiza trip) after hearing how legendary it is, but now I'll experience it at Sankey's, and it'll be for its opening at its new home. It feels weird to me to do that, but I'm sure the lineups will be good. Paradise won't have opened up as of yet in June, but they'll still have Hyte to compete with.
 
We love has kinda sucked ever since the day party rules rolled out. Not really surprised at this move.
 
Agree that it did lose some of its appeal when the daytime element was lost. I do also think the line ups were all over the place last year, the branding was poor and don't think they were sure where to take it.

Last great night I had there was 28th August 2011 for my 40th. Dimitri from Paris, Groove Armada and Ralph Lawson. A special night for so many reasons.

Sad to see it go, unsure if it will work at Sankeys. It was like when Manumission moved to Friday's at amnesia. Wrong day and wrong venue and just didn't work anymore.
 
I watched clip from Elrow last night, looks good, Techno, maybe that will be me & my friends new Sunday, even though its on a sat followed by all day on bora bora Beach which is always good on a Sunday, maybe change is not a bad thing, still gutted though xxx

Considering a lot of nights are lumped into sunday/mondays they should forget about sunday then and take advantage of Friday nights.
 
I had some amazing all day sessions at We Love in the late 90's and early noughties. I went twice last year to the stripped back thing they did and the sunset terrace and terrace were bouncing, the discoteca the second week we went was awful (1st 2 weeks in September) It may have lost the appeal it had even 5 years ago but to take a party that was that big an Ibiza institution at Space and move it to Sankeys???? I really can't see it working tbh the whole thing is like a bad joke
 
First went to We Love in 2000 and it was magical we've gone most years since and the last couple of times it felt like it was losing its sparkle. Will be interesting to see how it works out at Sankeys but know deep down it won't be the same so why not just change the name "We don't Love"

Is there any truth in Space being turned into a shopping mall/car park ? Space is an Ibiza institution this would be tragic !!
