Copter View

Its Ibiza Friday again and this week we bring you to Cala d’en Serra & its Abandoned Hotel.

Cala d’en serra is a beach in the north part of Ibiza, it's a small horseshoe bay with further satellite coves nearby. The sandy beach was onced named in The Guardian newspaper, as one of Europe’s best beaches!
There is also one other interesting feature about Cala d’en Serra and that’s the abandoned hotel. We Will post a few close up aerial photos of the hotel in the comments.

The story of the hotel itself is also a fascinating one ...

I went mountain biking on the island last year and Im fairly sure that one of the routes ended up at this place. Lovely beach and pretty good downhill run to it

Cala d'en Serra is totally rammed these days..
It's better to go early in the morning, because after 11 a.m it's a nightmare.
But the better moment to go is after a party night to see the sunrise

can you still drive down that hill till the mini-parking next to the ruin ?
or do you have to walk all the way down from the top of the hill ??
