Summer 2020...where to go? PDB or SAN ANT?Ibz town?

never been in the old town...many nice bars ? Beach clubs? Other places with music and fun? Where to stay to be nearby that zone?
 
old town/ harbor is full of bars with or without terrace, huge spot at night for socialising/meetups
No beach clubs (more playa dem bossa aera)

Figueretas was the place i used to stay early years (panoramic appartment ,tropical garden appartment, los molinos , playasol maritimo and airbnb hosts from begin av espana to end av espana), Talamanca beach hotels cheaper (ex Talamanca hotel (hosted by best ibz spotlight 2013 mate :cool: ) better seaview than figueretas hôtels) are a better option. and close to oldtown by feet

The last few trips i've done i've split my holiday between Figuretas and San An Bay to get a bit of everything I want.

Figuretas for Ibiza Town in walking distance and great restaurants and bars nearby, plus chilled atmosphere.
San An Bay for the quieter side of San An but still walkable to Mambo, Savannah e.t.c Short taxi ride to Pikes. Buses to all over the island from the Bus station.

I'm planning on doing the same in September, mainly for a break from England!!

Yeah , but not opposite to the harbour. These cafes are crap ( most of them )
Around croissant show , at petite vermouth and so on its nice.
Also upstairs ... a little gay maybe , but the bars are fine and the gay people dont bite.
Ibiza town is nice outside season when most tourists are away. Total different crowd relaxed , friendly . I think this will be the case this summer without many tourists.

Btw : Whats with Petite Perrerya ? Still existing ? Maybe nice evenings there this summer. Remember the sound ( Klipschorns ) , very cool.

isn't it private events only now ? - real shame as there were high hopes for that venue, but I think there was a change in the team (run by a Dutch guy I think?)

At the beginning they let some fireign people in.
I remember nights with house musicb, not only jazz or something.
Nice evenings there , most of the crowd were natives.
The big theatro is missing. Was s place you could go at every evening
Someone at the new one ?
 
Thanks everyone for the useful info! have made my decision and taken an apartment in the old town of Ibiza (barrio de la marina district) and will be staying there from 3 to 10 August ... who will be around there during that period? Always nice to meet nice people of course;) now it is a bit of a search to know which cozy bars, small clubs etc are there :) if someone has useful tips ...
 
Think there will be more 'action' at the old town than in PDB ... and easy to take bus or cab from IBZ town to PDB or San Ant...
