No No No!!!!

Its just wrong to add milk with the teabag before the hot water, the milk clogs up the holes in the teabag and you dont get a proper cup of tea!!!

Philistines the lot of you who make tea this way!!!:spank:

I think it's a Northern thing (proper decent tea-making is in Northerners blood). It seems to be a weird (i.e. wrong) Southern type thing to put the milk in first. Stop it. Now. It just isn't right.8)

I like my tea so strong you can almost stand the spoon up in it - Yorkshire Tea - with the bag left in for ages..... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

If I do have to make one I prefer it strong, I put the milk in with the tea bag, then the boiled water. This gives the tea a lovely even tanned colour

the colour of the tea i like is best described as "a dirrrty builders style cuppa".

agree with pups about the wrongess of the milk in first thing. maybe its some kind of habit left over from when milk was put in first to stop the boiling hot tea breaking the china.

but then that brings teapots into the equation and thats a whole other can of worms!
