Steve Lawler on VIVA at Space nights

Viva starts mid-July so i would hope that the terrace is finished by then.
Also - people might just be getting hysterical about the lack of progress - remember that the structure going in is essentially a fancy conservatory. The builders might just suprise a few people and have it ready on time.

cue... not like the old days 
i can't wait either. space has changed so much over the last 10 years, but it's still far and away the best club in the world. not least of all because of the djs. does anyone remember daniel klein on the terrace in 97, 98 - how crap was he? the coming of steve lawler in 99 was like a fresh breeze across the mousse-t-influenced, monotonous house sound of back then.
everyone said amnesia would fade away after roofing their terrace. did it hell. la troya at 10 in the morning ( i mean 6 of course, allegedly it shoud close at 6) is something to be believed.
the concept of an alternative to the always far-too-packed-and-sweaty main room at space at 3 in the morning is mind-blowing
i hope they use it to its full extent and really offer something different. i have to confess last year, drifting inside at 10 pm, to hear the same song inside and outside... hmmm not my definition of 2 rooms.
(sorry for drifting into nostalgia) i have had some wicked parties at space in my time, but the ones last year with cassius and the space birthday when i met so many members here) were as good as any*

Here here, well said James. I'm really looking forward to the new terrace, like you said it has changed ALOT over the ten years, but in my eyes remains the best club in the world. Evolution. Things need to change, and Space has the capacity, resources and management to keep it fresh.

Thankyou, at long last people not moaning about the changes @ Space I first went to Space in 1996 and it has changed so much over that time, it was great then but it's still great now, things need/have to change.
And I can guarantee when I leave We Love Opening party I'll say the same thing I say every year 'I'm sure that was my bestest ever Space session'

Everyone here is making me fell like an idiot!! I love house and trance, but I really don't know any of the Dj's you guys are talking about! 
I'm listening to tall paul globetrotting, lima peru. I like, but I like my house a little more upbeat, maybe? happy? Or I'm just a dork! I'll get proper house education when I arrive. You should hear the crap they play here in sicily!!! Although, I went to a club in taromina last weekend that was quite out of control. The funniest part of the night was easily when the party lights went bright white, and my boy thought the club was being raided! Also, two people for some reason thought we was cops , some chinnese guy kept trying to sell me drugs 
, and I was so messed up that I kept losing my friend and girlfriend even though they was standing in front of me and not moving!!! AND this place sucks!!! If ibiza is even a tenth of the fun that I'm reading, I'm going to cry when I have to get on the plane and come back here.
