Stand up for the Champions!

I was going to post that this thread was a little premature and that tonight's game against Old Salvatorians is far from a formality. But then I realised you were on about that other league.

I'll let you know how we get on though!
Good luck tonight!

What "proper" football fan gives a rat's ar5e about Chelsea?

I just feel sorry for all the "proper" fans.

on the decline. if Terry Henry goes, theyre royally ****ed!

 Please! How can a team that makes its first european cup final, spanks Juventus and beats Real Madrid be described as 'on the decline'!

If Terry goes - he will be missed for sure...its very hard to replace arguably the best player in the world currently but moving into a 60,000 seater stadium, £15M for that mobile phone loving left back, £30M for transfers anyway, £25M for Terry if he goes...I suspect you might be barking up the wrong tree there! 8)

I assume you meant Thierry?

Or was that a freudian slip

(by the way, I agree that Terry is one of the best players in the world ;))

No Terry Henry and Bobby Pires...(say in north Laandon accent) :)

Terry almost went to Arsenal a few years ago...Had talks etc. Only reason he didn't was because of the fracas with Jody Morris and that Chealsea doorman...which he was potentially going to go down for...stopped Arsenal spashing the cash.

It's gonna hurt if they beat Barca and knock Spurs out of the CL, isn't it?

(go Barca! ;))

it would be disappointing, seeing that we've been sitting 4th since december.

UEFA Cup was our realistic target for this season, and CL would be a bonus.

Just one thing: beating Real Madrid this year it's nothing out of this world. They may even not play Champions League next year

Your entire season, £10m, losing players that will knock you back into the dark ages, years of abuse from the yids who will be the new giants of North London, the embarassment of one of the nicest stadia, but with no-one to fill it, aaaaaaalll balanced on one game against the best team in the world.

You gotta admit it's exciting.

You're sole saving grace this season was Juve (and particularly Viera) not bothering to turn up to Highbury

Whats With All The Celery Anyway??

Its an old tradition at Chelsea to chuck celery around, accompanied by a song that can't be repeated on a family board ;)

Kiss of death from the Morbster. I'd advise extreme caution around me today. 1-0 up with 15 to go, lost 2-1, meaning the oppo not only stopped us winning the league but took second place and promotion instead of us. All those Friday nights out I didn't have wasted.
