Spray Tans

Yay, go for it - it does give you a good colour. Ooh, find out if they'll give you little booties to wear. Barbie gets them at hers, but I don't and it soaks into the bottom of your feet like you wouldn't believe. If you don't get booties, scrub the stuff off the soles of your feet straight away.

Yes Babs, we literally spent a WHOLE DAY having this conversation in June.

Or if they don't do the booties they should provide you with some 'barrier cream' that you can put round your feet, on your nails etc so it doesn't stain.

I LOVE talking spray tans

I'm not quite sure why you all bother. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, really :?

Cos sunbathing is bad for you :?

For once I disagree with you Babs.

Sunbathing is only bad for you if you forgot few protection rules like using factor 15, don't sunbathing from 12 to 4 in the middle of the summer and if you don't mosturise (sp) your skin lots afterwards.

I think your problem is that you are not done to lay in a towel for three hours 8O

When I do sunbathe I sunbathe really safe but I think the problem is lots of Brits who are often paler than our European counterparts get on holiday, want to feel bronzed beauties and then go ott on the sunbathing on the first few days. Whereas I find if you get a spray tan before you go, you can sunbathe gradually and build up a colour as the spray tan fades over the course of the wk.

Mambs - I would get it done after work if you can and change into very loose clothing for the journey home.

The only problem I have had with these tans is the rubbing of clothing on the skin after the session. You shouldnt wear anything that is tight enough to rub on the body, this includes underwear. I just wore one of Mr PL's baggy T's and my really light running pants with an adjustable drawstring.

I didnt follow those rules on one of my first sessions and I had lighter marks where my bra had rubbed against my skin and around my waist where my skirt waistband rubbed. It looked stupid!

I have these tan sessions quite a bit and as Barbie says the key is to properly exfoliate and moisturise every day before the session.

Good Luck!

Don't worry I've already started compiling his B_____ review

I want a review too! 8O

What am I supposed to do to earn my own review? 8O

You only get a review if you've been a bad B_______ 8O

Don't you be going off the B______ rails as well, it's hard enough keeping Robder and Stuie in line

Anyone off here had a spray tan ??
Bit late as you've probably already had it done, but I can highly recommend having an Air-brush spray tan done if you can find somewhere that does that as opposed to the booth. I've had a few different spray tans, and having someone airbrush you gives you much better coverage. The only thing I would say is whatever option you have, be carefull with things like your hands and feets, make sure you exfoliate and moistrize. I forgot about my feet last time, and when I was lying on the sun lonunger, my friend pointed out it looked liked I hadn't washed my feet in years

The air-brush tans are good but if you're anything like me I haven't got the time and patience to lay there while someone sprays me, that's why I like the booths cos I'm in and out in less than 5 mins.

I've had the heavenly bodies spray tan before, you stand with arms and legs spread and a lady sprays you. It only takes 5 mins. Expensive though £30 which buys you a large san tropez mouse and rubber gloves, which lasts ages but takes practice.
