Spray Tans

Anyone off here had a spray tan ?? the one where you walk into that booth thing :lol:

I was thinking of getting one done tonight for Friday but Sarah's put me off saying that when it starts to come off it looks patchy so she scrubs herself with the body brush to get it off :lol:

Anyone else got any things that i should know to put me off?

I thinking of just going for UV again for the maximum amount of time possible tonight and tomorrow instead now :?

I've had it Mambo - California Sunless Tan in a booth thingy at the Tanning Shop (not all branches have them). I went much browner than with a DIY fake tan and it lasted for a week. But it's true that it came off in a horrid patchy way and I looked like I had an unfortunate skin condition.

Mambo, they're fine, I have the one in the Tanning Shop (but not the Californian one another one), if you exfoliate and moisturise before you go I've had no problems with it coming off patchy. Also don't wear jeans or trousers afterwards cos it can rub off on clothes to start with.

They're completely idiot/Babs proof, walk in, they even show you a video if you want, spray for 15 seconds, turn round, spray for another 15 seconds and you're out in no-time.

Just remember to turn around at the right time :lol:

I'm not quite sure why you all bother. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, really :?
 
Had one last year, a couple of days before going on holiday (after advice from Babs :lol: ) mine was fine, like babs said, exfoliate/moisturise you'll be fine :D

Is yours the Fantasy tan Babs? FYI, the California one only sprays you for about 3 seconds each side (I was like "Is that it??" after my tutorial from Barbie). :lol:

We can talk about spray tans for hours. :lol:
 
That’s the one girls - california tan thing @ the tanning shop. Im wearing trousers today but they are black and I aint bothered if it comes off on them as they wasn’t expensive. Im more bothered if it rubs off and leaves me with a white patch where it once was. Do you think it would do that ?

I would say it'll rub off a bit of the instant bronzer you get sprayed with, but the proper stuff underneath will develop fine.

Excellent - it will only take me a 15 min walk back anyway.

Didn't we spend a whole day at work before Ibiza discussing spray tans :oops: :lol:

I'm not sure what mine is called, the Tanning Shop in Ealing doesn't have California one, it might be Fantasy one.

I wouldn't tbh, last one I had in June I had 3/4 denims on and when I got home you could quite a bit of it had come on so then I stomped cos Rachel's was darker than mine :lol:

Can you not put on a skirt on tomorrow and get it done then??

Yay, go for it - it does give you a good colour. Ooh, find out if they'll give you little booties to wear. Barbie gets them at hers, but I don't and it soaks into the bottom of your feet like you wouldn't believe. If you don't get booties, scrub the stuff off the soles of your feet straight away.

Yes Babs, we literally spent a WHOLE DAY having this conversation in June. :lol:
