If you like a good Red an Italian wine maker called Tomassi has some great wines. My favorites are Amaroni classico, Ripasso, and Valpolicella. They are not cheap everyday wine but if your wallet can afford it the wines taste great and have about 12% by volume. Price range for the wines are $20-$50. No telling in the UK how much they would be?
