Space Closing 2016

They had the right license, we expected it to go longer but not to be :rolleyes:
The island does not seem to be happy about the big clubs at the minute, wonder how it will pan out with matutes and his project.
I guess he's not in the habit of over opening for a start.

Listening right now. Lot of classics during first hour. Now becoming less classic but really really good.
I'm listeining in alphabetical order, so next one will gona be Edu Imbernon (just half an hour set)

Eats and Yousef set was only an hour long mate it was all classic, up there with my fav sets of the night!

I downloaded off there 2 days ago, the download is an hour of Eats and then goes into Maceo Plex set for some reason that's why its 2 and a half hours long
 
wow, i had multiple hours to read all of the thread comments from the moment the closing fiesta began now. i was one of the dumb people standing in the line for four (!) hours from 7.30 to 11.30 pm, because - compared to obviously others - we didn't push or sneak in somehow nor did we realize there were other quicker queues or something. therefore, i missed some sets of my past and present heroes of the night. i was wondering how you guys experienced the very bad organized entrance. i'm happy that some of you had more luck or chose more intelligent ways and times to get in! and i'm sorry for all of you who got robbed or touched ... :(

but well, like many of you wrote: it was worth the wait and all the pain and anger. once inside, hours and hours of passionate dancing to the music i love with memories of 15 years space clubbing coming in mind followed. i'm so happy my emotions for this club won during standing in the line vs. my head saying 'wtf are we still doing here?!'!

i feel blessed i could make it to the last ever evening, night and morning of space. and the fun thing is: the moment i left space i wasn't very emotional. but the day after and then back home the more comments of you i read, memories you shared and experiences you exchanged, the more emotional i got. now i'm back home, pretty sad, but at the same time very happy i was a tiny part of this unique magical place. now i realise: it meant more to me than i thought.
 
anyone know what that credit card thing in the Space goodie bag is? I tried plugging it into my computer's USB port and nothing.

(And yes I had a brilliant time at the Space closing. First time in Ibiza in years (I'm old) and I got in, didn't queue and made it to the end. f***ing awesome!

I've heard right now Kölsch and Josh Wink sets. They were fantastic too.
I don't know it they did much djing or not (this appply to every djs that night) but when you are able to identified so many classics during a set, inevitably (at least for me) you love that set.
Btw, does anybody know how many times "Finally" was played during the night?

The credit card thing is a usb with a brilliant film about Space over the years, lots of historical footage .... Or at least I think. My bf watched it on his tablet.. He was sat next to me but I couldn't look at it at the time. I was so terribly upset. I'm going to wait a few weeks before I properly sit down and watch it.
 
Have any of you heard the George Fitzgerald BBC Radio 1 show with Sasha?
Sasha says how he was thinking of playing Age of Love during his set but then heard it 4 times being played out before him so decided not to play it!

I reckon his last two tunes Bodyshine and Take Me With You were perfect.
(But still should've ended with Expander)
