Space Closing 2016

How is it my life panned out in the way it has and resulted in me missing quite possibly the best closing party ever? Just my luck :cry: Im gutted im not going to be there!

Just the thought of never being able to go to Space ever again is depressing...

2 very young kids, cant get anyone to look after them for 2 days or whatever. Ive been trying to sort something since the turn of the year but just hasnt happened for me! Missus has just started new job aswell so she got no holiday yet :( Gutted!

Worst thing is ive been promising my missus we'd have a party week/weekend in ibiza since we got together, shes NEVER been to Space!!!!

But the kids came along first and put a hold on that one, and then of course Space decides to close.. How rude of them :p

I would part with a LOT of money to be there one last time :lol:

but it aint gonna happen.....
 
Aye, i'm going... But, it almost wasn't gonna happen!!!! I'm only back from 7 months in Asia, broke, started a new job in August and they said i couldn't have the holiday off for Space... I took the job anyway because i was broke, waited until 3 weeks ago and then TOLD them that i WAS going to Ibiza and if they didn't give me the time off that i'd be handing my notice in next week!!!!! I was actually prepared to do this!!! All for Space!!!

But, they backed down and today, i saw on my schedule that i've all my days off that i needed!!!

Not to mention that my Granda gave me a £1000 cheque the other day for absolutely no reason whatsoever!!! :lol::lol:

For no reason?! He's prob heard you banging on about space closing and thought, right this lad is going to need to some serious cash to get through that party I'll chuck him some monies. What a legend though.

Well i wish i could be sharing your excitement, looks like it will be be-at tv streamed through the tv and surround sound with my lads disco ball thingy and a selection of alcohol whilst worrying about what time ive got to be in work... hmmmmm not quite the same is it?
 
Had the strangest dream got to share it. We got to space nice and early wasn't in the car park but was inside, was mingling with some oddballs although I was acting strange too I think. Kept looking at the que outside and it was what I can only describe like a Chinese army propaganda film everyone was in single file and rows and rows of people. Me and my friend had 2 tickets to go out of the club and do a BASE jump, we got to the top of the building had a quick go on a fruit machine in the casino my mate one $100 dollars in quarters , then we both jumped. I lost my friend but landed in space only to get chucked out by the bouncers cos I didn't have my ticket. in the meantime I've actually woken up gone for my regular loo break gone back to sleep. Now strangely I'm back in the same dream Queing again outside space mingling with some strange types I've then found my ticket but decided to go and do the base jump again . I've then landed in an area with an underground tube station, climbed over the train then opened the door and now I'm in space showing them my yellow wristband. Alarm clock rings and now I'm up.
Bit of a weird post I know, but had to share that with you all. Think the excitement starts here for me.

The fact that Digweed is free that weekend, that Sasha has been removed by Space on certain posts (can't really announce a b2b if they've already announced Sasha on his own), and the fact that whenever Digweed was asked about this over a month ago, he couldn't change the subject quick enough!!

I asked digweed face to face whether he was doing Space closing. He just gave me a massive grin
 
Well my friends have just arrived in Ibiza and gone to pick up their tickets for Space. They paid for them 3 months ago and have been told that, there are no ticket being sent to the ticket sellers who have been taking order since July. I'm told thousands of party goers all over the island have been told they will have to pay at the door now. the queue to get in will be one of the longest in space history :-(
