He is mugging off all the people who think he is mixing at his live shows . Just the same as when you see a singer live on stage and they are miming , half probably don't give a shit but half probably do. The argument isn't wether anyone is enjoying what he does as I'm sure he is entertaing huge amounts of people . I'm just stating you said said they haven't sold out and that they are not just great djs , which is complete rubbish. If he didn't stand there with his cdjs I wouldn't be having this argument with you.
I see your point. My original 'sold out' comment was in reflection to the direction progressive house shifted to what is now mainstream edm, as oppose to what you would see if you went to one of their live shows currently.
Still, there's no way that 1500 people pay 85€ in the expectation of experiencing a David Guetta dj master class. They just want to be entertained. Times change, these performers appeal to a much wider demographic of people, that just want to have a good time. Just because it happens under the roof of Pacha, it doesn't mean the crowd on a Thursday night expect what we would recognise as a dj set.
I guess we'll never know....
