For Solomun and Dixon, Dixon didn't come on until 1:15, 1:30 or so. It was obvious he was waiting for more people to show up before starting up his set.Looks like the +1 is doing 0030-0300 every week at the moment. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Good 2.5 hours set lengh. I'm guessing the only exception will be Sven (and maybe Richie) where Solomun may open and let them take the peak time slot.

there's a real art to being a warm-up DJ. it means getting the right tempo, not having an ego, and never upstaging the bride. too many kids bang it out to empty rooms and you have to ask WHY? it should instead be an opportunity to experiment and hone your craft
Interesting. Never understand this. I always respect the likes of Sven for example who sometimes loves being the first in a Club and play while it fills up. Even Richie Hawtin did this occasionally at Enter. Door opens and he's there playing. It's brilliant, and you get a much more versatile set.
