SOLOMUN +1 @ PACHA 2024 - Reviews & Reports

More later, but last night was off the scales amazing!
Glad it was a great one! How busy was it? Sardines or comfortable room to dance? Considering going to Dixon on Sunday but concerned (and girlfriend more so) that it'll be rammed.

Also interested in this....the closing party is an option for the first day I get there...but concerned it will be ridiculously rammed and not worth shelling out the 90 euros for...

Can’t bring myself to type to much now, but completely agree.

It was very busy, but as always in pacha there is always a spot to find if you know the right placesa nice little spot with plenty of room and

Was very very good. Found a nice spot upstairs with lots of room to move. Year in year out I expect to attend a solomun +1 and it be average but every single time solly and his +1 blow me away.

Quick report on Solomun + Dixon from last night (8 Sep):

arrived at about 0030 with Dixon doing quite ploddy warm up which didn’t really get going until the handover when he played the track that sounds like Alison Moyet vocal “give me what you’ve got” … Solomun took over at 0200 and played a lot of tech house which really wasn’t doing it for us but on the plus side there was hardly any VIP sold so loads of areas open upstairs that normally aren’t which meant places to sit / dance … crowd was ok and we met a nice couple from Wrexham … we hung on until 0600 and made the walk home before it got light … 7/10 and not bad effort considering we landed at 1900

Never went last night, but did notice last week that the VIP tables were not as busy as usual / previous years for Solomun. Interesting as this has been very solid VIP since 2013. Or a case that MusicOn is so IN with that crowd at the moment?

(Still waiting for your report from last week!)

Went last night and the place was rammed. Idk if the vip was rammed but everywhere else was. Came towards the end of Dixon which I thought was good, thought Solly himself was good and then b2b was excellent. Place really went off on a few tracks, nothing beats Pacha when the place pops like that. Overall excellent night.

Agreed. A few of those moments last Sunday too. When Pacha kicks off from the far top right of the VIP to the last person near the entrance - it f**king ROCKS!

How likely is Solomun closing party to sell out? has any of his nights sold out this season?
I would say on the grounds that there's fewer parties generally taking place that weekend due to earlier closings and the fact parties like Paradise and elrow the week before are already sold out on certain platforms, it would be prudent to buy pre-sale. Once things start selling out, even the parties which haven't typically sold out this summer will start to. This will equally apply to things such as Pikes over the October weekends

Ok good to know, thanks.

Will get on Pikes for the Monday as soon as guestlist is released...

Have to say BCS is very much what I'd say is a Pikes type set so far. Funky disco housey. Loving it although anyone in for techno might not be so much. What I fully expected though.

Interested to see how the B2B goes.

Definitely less busy than last year. Room to move and upstairs balcony & roof bar is general access. Which was not open for Saga (Sven)

Spoke too soon and made the mistake of coming to dance in front of the steps as you come in.

No room to swing a cat's testicle let alone a cat.

Barry Can't Swim, excellent set. Now getting out of dodge until people take their pics \ video before jumping back in.
