I heard from friends who was there, Solomun with Ame was musically outstanding. Bangers all night long as we know solomon plays a bit more motivated when he has his longtime friends ame or dixon.
Club was very very busy until 4-5 am then it got comfortable i heard.
But judging from the releases from Diynamic this year, Solomon is back on peak form this year. Didnt do it for me much between 2018-2022

Yeah there for Dixon +1 night in September, and been a few years since l went as always clashed with Gbox.. But going to pass on Gbox this year, as done to death and go to Solomun instead.. Really like his track, Follow the Disco Ball out at the moment.. On that Pacha sound system it will be truly energetic cartwheels for the ears!

Also, the last time I was here (5+ years ago) I recall there was a balcony area overlooking the dance floor that was in front of a bar that had some nice space to dance. I think it was beside the door out to the terrace.
Is this area still there for everyone or is it VIP now?

That area should still be there and sometimes the area next to it directly opposite the DJ booth and behind the lighting desk is sometimes open depending on how many VIP tables sold

Ha …. There are maybe 3 methods :
1) if you are in early then go straight to the dancefloor with the booth in front of you head to the right and find the staircase at the far right and in the opposite direction to where you entered the dance floor this takes you to the terrace area you mention
2) head across the dancefloor and use the stairs to the left of the booth and follow this around until you find the toilets (through a couple of bars) and keep going up the stairs until you enter the terrace from the other end and then find the other door back into the upstairs of the club
3) head all the way to the far right end of the downstairs club (same as method 1 but don’t take the stairs) and make your way to the downstairs (VIP ? Terrace not sure if this is still open to general admission in 2024) but if it is make your way around to the right and another set of straight stairs takes you up to the outside upstairs terrace where you can find the door back inside

I looked at the stories last night and the party looked quite good. Packed but not a crazy amount of phones and the tunes sounded great. With all the Afro house it’s nice to hear a “harder” sound even though it’s not hard at all

Been to Pacha countless times, I still would have zero chance of telling anyone how to get anywhere in there

I was at this for the Marcell Dettmann +1 the week before, someone who I was yet to see but was eager to do so. Had been to this night a couple of times in the past.
I got there around 2am and it was v busy but not a sardine can so found a spot. As best as I can recall there was plenty of very hypnotic and melodic techno/tech house and it was one of those nights where 5 hours seemed to go by in an hour.
Bit blurry but overall it was a banger and didn’t disappoint.
