My title is Commercial Director, but I'm responsible for pretty much everything in our medium sized civil engineering company.

Oh yeah, I dabble in a bit of club stuff now and again too.........

I didn't realise you had a "proper job" too ;)

I'm Director at a construction agency, need any lads ?

If they're hardworking, have NRSWA 1-7 and can/have pass(ed) a Thames Water 'Blue Card' medical...you could be in. Service layers, main layers, insertion gangs, repairs & maintenance gangs all on water and track and box gangs on BT work - all requirements of mine at the moment.

Fascinating stuff eh?

I have three dozen down for you next Monday, they'll be at Kings Cross at 7.00am.

;)

They'll have conveniently forgotton their paperwork and have strong Afghan sounding Manc accents.

Well I've had a white guy claiming the black bloke on the CIS card he presented was in fact him before, so what the hell, send them down

Hahaha, I can imagine.

Don't start me on CIS cards.

Everyones trying to claim holiday pay on them now.. I avoid CIS workers completely. Unless they're proper contractors (own materials etc)... anyway... Ibiza and bora bora and palm trees and all that..

Ok, I'll start you on PAYE instead, you were only going to claim full employment rights after 13 weeks anyway despite wanting the advantages of being a subbie...oops er sorry....Space roof etc...disco mafia...the olive scandal...

But I want the subbies CIS pay rate and holiday pay and full employment rights and pay minimal tax and i'm gonna refuse to fill in any of the appropriate paperwork and I want someone to wipe my arse, cos that's what john bloggs down the road gets etc etc etc...Look a planes flying over! Hands in the air!! PDB OR SAN ANN?

Not bad thanks ;)

Most of our staff have all their CSCS, apart from a few that failed

We're inundated with staff at the mo (for once  ) but i now know who to call at 7:30am on Monday mornings ;)

It's quite interesting how many people have senior/management roles and yet still go mad of a weekend. There must be some interesting managerial decisions made on a monday morning!!

That's why i had to tone it down in a big way.

I'm responsible for 20+ staff which takes more than 5 brain cells to deal with on a monday morning.

It got to the point where i was coming in Saturdays to do most of my monday work in advance
