Smokin'jo and Tim Sheridan talk about BORA BORA, DC10, etc!!

absolutely agree. I'm having a trip planned to Ibiza for Season closing, we just spoke to the group and cancel the flight.

it's about the the big boys taking over and taking away what doesn't bring money or is creative. This is what Ibiza was for us. If that is gone there is nothing left.

If they don't change this, this is the end of an era and many more business related to it. Also mags like Mixmag, travel industry will feel this.

Good memories absolutely !
We hope they see the error they made and correct it real soon.

But, I'm probably standing on my own here. After reading other posts I can see that many people expect to receive tollerance but not prepared to be tolerant themselves

the thing is stevemac
to you bora bora is useless to me san-an is useless
but unlike you i wont go slandering on san-an since i belive that if you have fun there you should go ahead and keep doing so
since it doesnt bother me in any way
the question is why does it bother you that me and many others have fun at bora bora

oh and be sure that if bora bora is getting messed with
san-an is next
so it would only in your best intrest to hope that all of ibiza stays whole
because who knows who get the next blow

and now to somthing completley diffrent
i promised my self i have to do at least one more ibiza
since this year and 2 years ago the island made such an incredible impact
on me so i'll hopefully get back on summer 2005
what can i do the la troya on wensdays and most of the space parties are still the top of the top
but if things dont change back to normal
and the spanish authorities wont stop pushing all the good things out of ibiza this will definitly be my last ibiza run

I didn't say I hated PDB or Bora Bora, but I don't think they're the greatest places on the planet. What everyone on this board doesn't seem to be doing, is listening to people that live in Ibiza, Bora Bora was cracked down on because of disturbance, just in the same manner that the "Superclubs" have had to put roofs on their terraces.

It seems to be a general humn condition that when anything happens that they don't like, there must be a conspiracy.

You read on this forum, everyone saying that Ibiza has so much to offer (which I personally beleive it does, having travelled across all parts of the island). However, as soon as it's mentioned that Bora Bora has been clamped down on, there is a bombardment of posts from people not prepared to return to the island.

Absolutely agree with Stevemac402003.

NO dicso closing will stop me getting to ibiza as i think that i have to see more far away than only clubs-clubs and clubs...

And hey, Ibiza is too magic to say "Never will get there because bora-bora is shut down". Ibiza is more than "just" bora bora...

just a few words from Mr.Gee:

"HI
Yes the other week they closed Bora Bora, DC10 terrace, Satrinxa (Music),KM5
(Music),AK Morgana,Kumhars(no chill out music), Beniras (no bongos) thanks mainly to Space and the rest of the disco mafia, it just so happens that the owner of Space is one of the main politicians in Spain.
well we are off to look for another beach in another more affordable country so keep an eye on the web site to see where the world tour takes us and where the new Bora Bora's are.
Thanks for your support and hope to see you in another place.
later
Gee"

Pepe is **** :!:

Gee"

Surely Pepe is cutting of his nose to spite his face here!

Clubs live and thrive on reputations and this aint doing any good for his or Ibiza's.

I for one look forward to Gee's new plans.

since when! i never knew that! so why does everyone think pepe owns it?

oh come on my young friend - you still have a lot to learn!! :P

why you think a club like space can be next to all those hotels (btw, also owned by matutes like half of playa den bossa)?

do you think if it was owned by someone else it would still be open?

the thought had crossed my mind, but i just thought that pepe owned it. how comes then, if matutes owns it why does he have to cover the roof up? surely he can do what he wants?

so what has pepe been doing then, just putting on a front and betend that the owns it...

that makes space the most powerful club on the island.

yeah mc, that does make more sense but surely the rest of the spanish government and politicians would see what he was doing??? i mean spains not some draconion country, its a democracy and surely if this was the case then there would be a scandal???
