Happy St Andrews day - I am 1/4 Scottish so that's as good a reason as any to get on the rose tonight to celebrate :D :lol:

So, basically, everyone in England is 1/4 Scottish! :lol:

Happy St Andrew's Day to you all!

Comes from all the raping and pillaging in the past ;)

Speaking of which, its about time we have a wee invasion of England - take over down to about Birmingham i think and then taunt the Southerners :D

On an :evil: note tho - apparently next year we Scots are entitled to take St Andrews day as a holiday! ------------------------------but we have to relinquish another one in its place!!!

:evil::evil::evil::evil:

I was going to say that, but refrained less I stir ethnic tensions :lol:

Similar to what the Tatar/Mongol hordes did to the Russians.
(though you'll never find a Russian to say "I'm a quarter Mongol :lol:)

Noooooo!!! Not Birmingham!:lol:

Seriously, we're not bothered if you take as far as Watford:lol: Just wait until I've shovelled other old junk I don't need over the new border to be as well please:lol:

We would take London but we cannot afford the congestion charges

who will patrol the borders? Surely that would incur £900m... then we'd dump a VAT bill on top for good measure.

:lol:

Forget the congestion charges... hell, just a pint will cost you twice as much!

or in Ministry VIP - four times as much

they try to creep prices higher up here - they forget its Glasgow and not Laaaandaaaan - where the people have individual securicor vans to take their wages home

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I noticed when I was in Newcastle (well, not quite Scotland but closer...) that it's dirt cheap by comparison. My brother and I had a roast dinner and 2 pints for 12 pounds :!: My brother was in such disbelief that he handed the cashier 30 because he thought he'd misheard something :lol:

He was up in Edinburgh the previous week... said it's a lovely town.

So, what do people DO on St Andrews Day?

Ah Scotlands second city - its a lovely homage to Brigadoon for the tourists, with the more modern Trainspotting ride added
