Bought some stuff and when i got home noticed that they'd charged me the full price (4.97) for a pack of batteries that was reduced to £2.50.
Now at this point i knew two things:
1. There were three more packs of the batteries on the shelf.
2. Tesco have a policy that if they overcharge you, you get all your money back and get to keep the product.
Went back and bought the other three packs, again charged full price. As soon as the transaction was complete I took the originally purchased pack and receipt from my bag and informed the checkout girl of her error. Supervisor came over and straight away knew what i was upto
Nothing he could do though, he was even more annoyed when i took 12p from my pocket and gave it to him so he could give me a £20 note.
Result: Tesco PAY ME £20 to give me Four packs of batteries
Sometimes the small wins/results are the most satisfying
