Thank you very much for your comments on my post "saveibiza-keep-straight-people-out.com". I have to admit that you've raised some very good points and that I've learned a lot from this passionate debate.
However, I'd like to clear up some misunderstandings regarding my attitude towards SOME of the holiday-makers in Ibiza: (In)tolerance has nothing to do with one's sexual preferences. There are (in)tolerant people among gay and straight people alike.
However, gay people are much more often victims of intolerance. We have to deal constantly with prejudices and stereotypes, not only in newly democratized countries like Romania, but even in Western Europe or North America.
Apparently you felt offended by the stereotypical image I gave to straight people in my post. My intention was not to offend straight people in general or the inhabitants of Ibiza in particular, but to give to those judgemental people among us a taste of their own medicine.
It's very bitter - trust me, I know.

you dont make any sense to me. you were trying to give back a bit of intolerance to those people among us who do not tolerate you by casting your net wide over everybody not like you who visits ibiza? i was actually thinking it was a joke for a minute. i hope if anything by signing up to this site it may show you how wide of the mark you are.
