I get SARS every year when i go on holiday and party for two weeks. Always come home with flu like symptoms. :( :( :(

I am so relieved to see so many of you understand that here in TO there is no SARS problem. I just don't understand why the news media was ready to call it SARS city so quick, its almost like people were ready to believe the worst. It tought me you really have to think twice about believing something you read in the paper or see on TV.

SARS Disease.

The Can Misses national health hospital & authorities are taking measures to ensure that there is no out break of SARS Disease on the island. They have appointed a specialist to consult with the medical staff at Can Misses & at the other private hospitals on the island to make sure they are aware of the safety measures they need to apply. Also this expert will explain to the island's medical staff how to distinguish between SARS & other forms of pneumonia so that there is no panic or misinformation on the island.
Apparently there have been people who have felt ill who have been to hospital to check that they are not infected with SARS. These have seemingly been residents on the island who have recently returned from the far east & China in particular. Up to now no infection has been detected but it is good for all concerned that the authorities are carrying out these safety & preventative measures so that the island stays SARS free.
