I do think after this year I would like a quieter hotel area that still have a nice few bars and restaurants around but still close enough that a cab isn't a fortune so I suspect St Eulalia is the best bet.

What's Cala Llonga like? Saw a few nice hotels there

nice small resort lots of places to eat drink,el pinar atparthotel is nice rooms great.food great as well.either cook yourself or eat inside or out..sirenis hotel the other side of beach is ok a/i...easy to get bus to town or Santa Eulalia...fiesta hotel is nice.depends what you want...s/c with the option to eat great meals at el pina or a/i hotels...so at least you can have the option of a quite resort hotel.but not too far to go for nightlife in ibiza town.Santa Eulalia...even nip up to es cana one night for a meal in s/c..get the bus to Santa Eulalia then on to san an.taxi back...or get the ferry boat one day down to pdb...i;ve been twice to cala longa..once just used buses.other had car.to get out and about.
