San Miguel by night

Soon the discobus will start all night long.
You can go from Sta. Eulalia to Ibiza town

Normally give it a wide berth, though I'd imagine the passengers on the St Eulalia route are probably a lot calmer than those between San An & Bossa!

Never lived in Sta. Eulalia but been on the discobus ,yes it's much calmer, early buses got young people going to Pacha when they open, not knowing.

I was looking at booking somewhere in St Eulalia for this year but ended up just sticking with Bossa. I do think after this year I would like a quieter hotel area that still have a nice few bars and restaurants around but still close enough that a cab isn't a fortune so I suspect St Eulalia is the best bet.

What's Cala Llonga like? Saw a few nice hotels there

Every time I've been there in the day it's usually been my favourite day of that holiday. May have to try it. I'm not worried if I'm surrounded by older people, if anything I'd like that. I must be old before my time cause I can't bare looking at the iced gem haircut brigade pretending they like electronic music anymore

What is Guarana like stivi?

Is Guarnana is what im thinking (the small 'nightclub' just down from the prominade on the corner?)

What are the drink and food prices like around St Eulalia? Are they more reasonable than the like of Ibiza town/Bossa and co?

Much cheaper (i think) than PDB and Ibiza Town (depending on where you go in the town)

Most i've paid for a pint at a bar was €5 in Santa Eul then theres cocktail bars etc which are reasonable say €7-€8 maybe.

Food prices if you were eating along the prominade in the 'tourist trap' you get get decent meals (starter, main and a drink) for about €60-€70 max between 2 of you. There are some more expensive restaurants if you venture outside the main bit but there worth it!

Sounds very promising, think ill be trying it out next time!! I'm even younger than you and think id prefer to be away from the main party bits but close enough to get to Amnesia without to much trouble!!

Santa Eulalia is great for restaurants.. About San Miguel, I prefer Portinatx at night, at least we have a chiringuito with good house music during the day until 11 pm, and I am curious about the new barcelo hotel(adult only), which seems to purpose djs around the pool.
In the center of Portinatx there is also a pub opened until 4 am.
And some of the most beautiful beaches of the island around...

I now certainly prefer to stay in a quieter part:lol:

Its just nicer! Getting back to the hotel I want a nice pool and quiet room and be able to go to sleep when I want. Couldn't think of much worse than wanting to sleep and having Carola outside your window full blast until god knows what hour!

If I want the loud music and nights out happy to travel down the road, but prefer it not to be outside my window
