 postponed the closing of a terrace of a club thanks to a last minute appeal
san jose was planning to seal part of the terraces of space on friday.

if the appeal is rejected, an important part of the club will be sealed. there's two or three areas that are used and, according to its license, are not correct.

the decision to seal part of the venue comes after the irregularities detected after the denounce presented by another venue.

the major assures that during the next weeks there might be new sealings in other venues like dc10, km5 and ushuaia after the denounces filed between these business.

 the irregularities
dc10 - it works as a club without a license, that extends to an adjacent area without permission
ushuaia - it only has hotel license. the bars and clubs association denounces that it works as a club
km5 - the adjacent areas with tents installed without license. the major doubts it works as a club, as the the bars and clubs association denounces

as you might remember, the bars and clubs association filed a complaint in the court against the major for prevarication as, according to the them, he wasn't acting against dc10.....

and, as you might remember, it's normal that one venue denounces another ! !

wish everyone would just play along nicely.

Unless the club gets shut down completely I doubt that it would effect how many people go there.

This is real pants news.

Its local culture to be fighting with each other

If somebody wasnt having a go at somebody else then I would be surprised:)

Brilliant. Sounds like mutually-assured destruction to me!

To paraphrase Sting, there appears to not be a monopoly on common sense on either side of the political fence!

at least everyone cant blame blame pacha like they did last year, we are doing parties there.it was really annoying last year when people blamed it all on pacha and we are the least concerned.it always comes out in the wash eh :)

We'll just blame it all on Amnesia then, because they hate everyone but them lol.

I do hope the authorities don't shoot themselves with this. Isn't this what they wanted? Ibiza as a more high end type of destination! Surely they can see the benefits that Ushuaia are bringing.......

Looks like Ushuaia will be a one-year-trick then!

Sure after enough consulting, beard-stroking and back-scratching (edited the next bit) ways will be found through all the kerfuffle ..

Just hope dcdicks doesn't wind up the fall-guy

Two months take us to end of September, so do we think the closing party on 2nd October is safe ( it's the Flight Arena in the open air car park that kinda makes the whole party! )

In the article it referred to a date of 30th October too but my spanish isn't great so not sure what it meant...
