I don't think people are mocking san an because there are people who are not clubbers, it's rather they're staying the hell out of there because it's a reservation area for British people.
Like me, I don't have anything against the British, many of them are good friends of mine, but naturally I'm staying the hell of out san an like everyone else (who's not British). I mean, why would anyone voluntarily want to torture themselves? Notice how all the people talking enthusiastically about San an in this thread are British? Well, even some of the more clued-up Brits understand quite clearly and stay the hell out.
This talk about "regeneration of San an" - dream on. Yeah, maybe more Brits come to the place with the marketing push, but it doesn't have any sort of effect on everyone else, who's staying the hell out of the place - if I didn't make that clear already.
One never needs to visit san an to have a clear conviction of never going anywhere near the place. Just one visit to space on sunday is enough for pretty much everyone.
I hope I made myself clear enough: NO, WE'RE NOT GOING TO GO ANYWHERE NEAR SAN AN. And now please go on with your discussion Brits. I still don't have anything against you
