Last year I saw 2 scots in PDB throwing bottles at the "sex workers" and about 5 years ago in PDB i was walking with some friends and a group of twenty or so tried to mug us (luckily we managed to run away)

The only time I've ever been nervous walking the West End streets alone was a couple of years back. Heading back to my hotel in the early hours, turned a corner and walked head on into a gang of local youths. I was gestured over, too tired to run anyway, I approached them thinking 'here we go', but they just wanted to know the time.

Can't imagine what would have happened If I'd swung first.
