SA TRINXA * No more DJs?!*

If this is true, one of the few remaining examples of true island heart and soul has been taken away from us....

Can't believe this. (Well actually I can based on the direction Ibiza has been going.) But it's still completely gutting. Question for those with better knowledge of how things on the island tend to work... is this it? Or can there be an appeal? Guessing it won't just go away given whoever is behind it is likely to have deeper pockets than the owners of Sa Trinxa and other bars?

I read in the comments it might be more related to the wildlife/environment around salinas which is slightly more palatable than any other ulterior motive....ses salinas is a national park so that kind of makes sense.

This has happened before a few years ago if I remember correctly and eventually we saw music back.

Absolutely gutting and suspect a lot more to it. Kumharas wasn’t able to play music last Friday and had equipment taken.

I would understand if Sa Trinxa had massive speakers blasting out music for miles but in reality, you can only really hear the music when you’re close to the bar. Somewhere like Ushuaïa is certainly a great deal louder and more intrusive.

I wonder if Blue Marlin will be affected too or they have enough money to get around it?

How does this affect o-beach then which is right next to that little beach in San Antonio and you can hear the music booming?
