Looks like a Dutch guy with too much money has been buying a lot of property around Sa Penya to let to tourists. Endorsed of course by the local PP.

To compound matters, he said:

"Tourists never came up here before. I want people to bring light and remove darkness" (whatever the hell that means..)

to which people in the comments basically said:
