On my out of the office now to attend the game with an English expat friend of mine. Should be a good match! This whole city (country) is totally riled up for this match.

I was out (far too late :?) last night at a bar with a bunch of UK journalists and other people. Met Glen Hoddle! 8O

The reporters told me last night that it's partially McLaren's fault that Terry is out - he tackled him during warm-up and left him on the ground!! I think I saw a picture of the aftermath in one of the newspapers today.

Looking forward to celebrating with someone tonight! :lol:
 
JT should never have been declared anywhere fit to play.

what happened to his knee is that he wasn't fit in the first place, if he hadn't injured it in training, it would have gone at some point in the warm up or in the game.


russia had some chances at wembley, this is must win for them.......so a close game/ruski win wouldn't surprise me.
 
spose the KGB approach is like carpet bombing, if they attack all fans, statistically the will get some hooligans!

russia need to beat israel, andorra will be a formality.

Yep thats England out, but I can't see Scotland making it either. There top of their group now, but Italy and France will go through.
 
How pathetic are Ireland :x losing 1-0 to the "mighty" Cyprus at home, what a joke, we have the biggest muppet of all time in Steve Staunton, a man who clearly has not got a clue what he is doing.
