genuinely sad to hear about Michael Robinson. the story of how this journeyman footballer ended up a media sensation and household name in Spain is wonderful. Used to watch his football show every week on Canal+ in the 90s when I was studying in Barcelona. he had the funniest accent and invented whole turns of phrase that had everyone scratching their heads. a thoroughly nice man who did so much for Anglo-Spanish-Irish relations.
