we have fairly similar tastes I think.
I always had time for Joy O - he was one of the dubstep refugees who got more interesting when he started mixing it all up - I like his use of cut up vocals and nods to dark oldschool basslines. there was one pretty lawless party he did in shoreditch at some warehouse or gallery or something maybe just behind curtain road? it had a room upstairs which was all ultraviolet pink light - about as much as I remember!
That looks like the runners for the 2.45 at HaydockThere are some great newish UK based Jazz artists about at the minute.
