Restaurant news & reviews

Had a lovely meal in Locals Only yesterday before Destino. Menú del día for €17. Wanted to try for a few trips and finally got around to it.

Fresh and local produce which really hit the spot.

I had the babaganoush which was nice but the salmon burger was fantastic. Simply done as a flame grilled salmon on a toasted brioche bun.

Came with two slices of tomato in the side salad. And....decided to warily try a bit and then polished both off. Cured.

Finished off with a creamy sticky tapioca.

Highly recommend if in the area.

Bit of a random request - I land early next Fri and have about 6 hours to kill in Ibiza town before anyone else arrives and I can get in our accommodation. Any recommendations for a bar/restaurant I could settle into for a few drinks and food for that time please (will have luggage with me otherwise would have just gone wandering round)?

I had a look at their prices and it seemed a lot more expensive at Yenuina than when it was previously in San Antonio or Ibiza Town.
I didn’t notice the prices. We tended to have their lunchtime Menu del Dia in San An.
They did say it’s been a good move and they prefer it there. It is quite a way past where I see as the bay. I think they’re going for local rather than seasonal trade. Higher prices won’t help.

Being honest, the prices put me off, especially given the location. They need to lower the prices for locals, especially over winter.

When I asked, they also told me they didn’t do a Menu del Dia anymore.
