Did the sardines last night at Cap Blanc….thanks for the tip @Amigo it was fantastic - the food is fresh and delicious and you can have your fill, which at 19 euros each is incredible value. Interesting venue, we sat right on the water and we had some of the warmest and most genuine service we’ve had out here.

we do this one once every summer, it's become an annual tradition and we love it.

we also did the sardinada at can sulayetas (tuesdays in summer) a few weeks ago, this is another place I love going (and also a spot where I often end up after one of my hikes).

I walked by there the previous weekend whilst it was sardines night and the smell had me drooling. Massive portions of sardines, salad & potatoes too. Very popular and I was envious of those seated right by the water (it’s also a great pit-stop for a cafe con leche when out walking / running during the day).

As my husband is vegetarian I will need to go along with someone who enjoys fish, unless they offer a vegetarian alternative - I did see a child with a pizza but it looked like a jamon pizza.

Dunno how new it is but i’ve just had an advert pop up for an all you can eat steakhouse in SE called Carnesa and at €45 per person looks good value!
