RESISTANCE IBIZA [Sasha & Digweed] @ Privilege 2017

I think last night had just the right amount of people. Main dance floor was busy but you had plenty of room to dance still.

Plenty of room to get around either side and behind.
Bar area between vista & main is a good place to chill and never overly busy.

Bars were fairly quiet most of the time, never had to wait more than a minute for a drink. €9 beer. €16 Spirit & mixer (which they let you keep the remainder of)

No queues for the toilets.

Sound was excellent from various locations and the production & lighting was impressive.

I enjoyed myself. Decent sets from all. Good to see Privi back although it did seem alot smaller than i remembered it from many years ago.

what time does this party end? i may have a go aug 2 and 9th ,leaving Heart Factory with louie Vega around 3-4am
saving the last Heart Factory with Kings of House aug 15th

s&d were very good. didn't stay until end but I didn't hear any classics, it was all current stuff they played.

Cheers :). I'm not so much of a fan for hearing classics so no tears from me on that one.

Was a cracking night. Stayed till 6.30am and that's an achievement for me and the missus. Sasha and Digweed on top form. Imagine tbis party will get better. Fisrt ferry back to formentera and relax..

What was the atmosphere like? A lot of people gripe these days about the lack of atmosphere in the massive size of the venue.

That 2 breakdowns and 1 massive drop kids...:)

About 2 tracks at a push for 'the man like' and diggers

that´s how they used to play ´back in the day´, but same as they´ve progressed with the sound they play nowadays, the mixing and track length has also changed. as I said I didn´t stay for the entire set, but I really didn´t think it sounded/felt lengthy at all.

Did you know who the guest was meant to be @stivi? No great loss?

On addition to my earlier post, Crowd last night was a good mix.
Lots of 35+ Brits for sure.

well as I never got a proper confirmation of anyone about it I´m not even sure that it would have been that rumoured person. but THAT person was not such a ´huge´guest.

btw - carl cox was up in the VIP for a bit. people who saw him thought he might come down and play a few tunes (and that was a possibility tbh), but alas it didn´t happen.

See, I was nearly right!

So glad to hear all the positive reports about last night. Fingers crossed it stays like this all season. We decided to stay an extra night just to go to Resistance but weren't sure how it would do, but chuffed we are now. :) Can't wait till 5th Sept!

Privi seemed a lot smaller from what i remember. It was 10 years since i last went. Maybe someone can confirm they condensed it for resistance. That all said that atmosphere was good. Not overly packed just right really. Lot of older clubbers as well i thought which i expected for S + D..
